Therefore as a minimum 3 draws and 3 points will do me. Nothing positive about being happy with 3 points from 12. I want to cruise home and light up a big cigar for the last 3 games RE: Next Few Games - Paplane - 05-02-2025 (05-02-2025, 10:41 AM)Paplane Wrote:(05-02-2025, 10:16 AM)Sausage Roll Wrote:(05-02-2025, 09:33 AM)Paplane Wrote:(05-02-2025, 09:07 AM)Sausage Roll Wrote:(05-02-2025, 08:54 AM)Paplane Wrote: Are you lot for real? If we get just 3 points out of the next 12 we'll be down to about 6th in the table and this whole Champions League dream will be over. Wouldn't it be great though if we could get a decent points haul in these next 4? It might mean the game against Chelsea is a dead rubber. Southampton starting a winning streak?! Spurs turned the corner? Whilst I think it's possible we finish above Chelsea or City, it does feel like the real battle is with Bournemouth, Newcastle and Villa. Looking at the above, Bournemouth could definitely put a dent in our lead in this little run. RE: Next Few Games - The reds - 05-02-2025 I know it isn't quite the next few games but of the last 14 games We took 28pts from them games in the first half of the season. If we can get anywhere near that in the 2nd half of the season then we will achieve what we want. RE: Next Few Games - Fumanchew - 05-02-2025 If we look at it one game at a time: Fulham at home: DDDDL Forest away: WWWWL Brighton at home: DLDDL Chelsea away: WDLDL Man City at home: WLDWW Newcastle away: LWWWW Villa at home: WWDWD Ipswich away: LWLDL Saints at home: LLLLW B’Mouth away: WWDDW Chelsea game looks like a draw waiting to happen, the city Newcastle game will be interesting RE: Next Few Games - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 14-02-2025 Critical period now upon us. We have a massive month ahead of us. RE: Next Few Games - Marinakis Red - 14-02-2025 We will know exactly what we're challenging for at the end of the next 4 games. We could open up a gap with a win at Fulham tomorrow, others have such tough games this weekend other than Bournemouth and Villa. We will probably have a very good idea after the next month on where we can realistically hope to finish come the end of the season. It's a tough run on paper but I think it's a good time to play certainly Arsenal with the injuries, Newcastle have no Joelinton, Gordon is carrying a knock too. Fulhams go to men off the bench I Nelson and Wilson are not available so may not be able to impact the game from the bench as they would like. I'm really positive going in to them. Keep our players fit and we're in a really good place. RE: Next Few Games - Sausage Roll - 14-02-2025 Man City playing Newcastle tomorrow too so one or both of them will drop points. RE: Next Few Games - Salvatore Matrecano - 14-02-2025 Big Big If however should we sneak a win tomorrow and Man City Newcastle is a draw we open up an 8 point gap on both teams. Then anything we can get out of the 3 incredibly tough games afterwards is a bonus. Really feels like it could be huge if we can get a win. |
