We got 0 points from these four teams in the first half of the season and we're third. So 3 points would be an improvement. Chelsea have been on a terrible run and are still fourth.
Give the team more credit Pap (if it's a serious post). After our worst run of the season we won the next six on the spin.
I don't care if 3 points is an improvement on earlier results Sausage. We're entering the business end of the season and the big sides we're competing about will be getting results. If we don't then we'll get buried.
How do you know the other sides 'will' be getting results? Newcastle have lost a couple recently. Chelsea have been on a bad run. Man City are still up and down. You can't just assume that everyone around us will win all their matches.
And these other teams will still have to play each other too whereas after the next four matches we'll only have Villa and Chelsea left to play.
Have some positivity man!

Wouldn't it be great though if we could get a decent points haul in these next 4? It might mean the game against Chelsea is a dead rubber.

Of those matches Bournemouth have arguably the easiest next four. There are a lot of matches between teams around us so it's not just us going to be dropping points (if we do).
Looks like we need Brighton to turn it around fast! Southampton starting a winning streak?! Spurs turned the corner?
Whilst I think it's possible we finish above Chelsea or City, it does feel like the real battle is with Bournemouth, Newcastle and Villa. Looking at the above, Bournemouth could definitely put a dent in our lead in this little run.

I know it isn't quite the next few games but of the last 14 games
We took 28pts from them games in the first half of the season.
If we can get anywhere near that in the 2nd half of the season then we will achieve what we want.

We will know exactly what we're challenging for at the end of the next 4 games. We could open up a gap with a win at Fulham tomorrow, others have such tough games this weekend other than Bournemouth and Villa.

Yes I think so mate. We will probably have a very good idea after the next month on where we can realistically hope to finish come the end of the season.

It's a tough run on paper but I think it's a good time to play certainly Arsenal with the injuries, Newcastle have no Joelinton, Gordon is carrying a knock too. Fulhams go to men off the bench I Nelson and Wilson are not available so may not be able to impact the game from the bench as they would like.
I'm really positive going in to them. Keep our players fit and we're in a really good place.

Big Big If however should we sneak a win tomorrow and Man City Newcastle is a draw we open up an 8 point gap on both teams. Then anything we can get out of the 3 incredibly tough games afterwards is a bonus. Really feels like it could be huge if we can get a win.
