Next Few Games
I would say anything above 5 is good.

I would be happy with 4 points. A draw with every one. Fulham are inconsistent but they beat the Geordies so they are dangerous.

I would be very happy with a win at the cottage. The other three games we have to be brave. A draw against all of them would be much better for us and bad for them. They will come at us which plays into our hands. We cannot roll over because we did in those other games. Arsenal will be the hardest as Odergaard really needs gathering in. Citeh will have Doku against Milenkovic again. Newcastle we have to keep Isak quiet. All of those tasks are very difficult. We cannot take a BOurnmouth break. If we drop our usual standard then we are letting those other clubs in.

If we are above Newcastle and Citeh after this run then I will be very very happy and start to believe we can make top 4.

Top 5 helps us this season. I would prefer 4 because y'know then we deserved it. (even though others will be mardy because we did....)

Got to stay healthy.

Hopefully Exeter in the Cup gets the other players up and running. Taiwo needs some confidence..

Chicago: Optimistic.

4 points from that lot ruins our champions league aspirations imo. We got to be looking at 7 minimum imo.

Nah disagree, we've got loads of points in the bank and easier games to come. 2 draws with Newcastle and City would be enough to keep things on track.

I wouldn't expect any of our rivals to get 7 points from a run like that so not sure why we need to.

The most important thing is not letting any of Fulham Newcastle or City gain on us. Therefore as a minimum 3 draws and 3 points will do me.

It is really difficult but I reckon 6 sounds about right.

Are you lot for real? If we get just 3 points out of the next 12 we'll be down to about 6th in the table and this whole Champions League dream will be over.

I can't actually tell if you're taking the mickey with this post or not.

We got 0 points from these four teams in the first half of the season and we're third. So 3 points would be an improvement. Chelsea have been on a terrible run and are still fourth.

Give the team more credit Pap (if it's a serious post). After our worst run of the season we won the next six on the spin.

I don't care if 3 points is an improvement on earlier results Sausage. We're entering the business end of the season and the big sides we're competing about will be getting results. If we don't then we'll get buried.

Not all, we will still be thereabouts, particularly if we take points off those teams chasing us. One game at a time obviously but the following 4 games are Ipswich A, Manu H, Villa A, Everton H. My expectations for that lot are aiming at 9 points.

How do you know the other sides 'will' be getting results? Newcastle have lost a couple recently. Chelsea have been on a bad run. Man City are still up and down. You can't just assume that everyone around us will win all their matches.

And these other teams will still have to play each other too whereas after the next four matches we'll only have Villa and Chelsea left to play.

Have some positivity man!

Here are our next four matches and those of the teams immediately below us:

Us:
Fulham (A)
Newcastle (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (H)

Chelsea:
Brighton (A)
Villa (A)
Southampton (H)
Leicester (H)

Man City:
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (H)
Tottenham (A)
Forest (A)

Newcastle:
Man City (A)
Forest (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Ham (A)

Villa:
Ipswich (H)
Chelsea (H)
Palace (A)
Brentford (A)

Bournemouth:
Southampton (A)
Wolves (H)
Brighton (A)
Spurs (A)

Of those matches Bournemouth have arguably the easiest next four. There are a lot of matches between teams around us so it's not just us going to be dropping points (if we do).
