The Rangers job is available.

Go on Steve you know it makes sense.

I bet there's a job application form sent in from a certain Billy Davies.

I listened to a podcast he was on the other week. God, he sounded like a dinosaur.

Steve should be all over the Rangers job.

RE: Stevie Cooper - Salvatore Matrecano - 24-02-2025

Too late they’ve appointed Barry Ferguson until the end of the season which is the rough equivalent of Forest appointing Jack Lester and expecting him to win the league for us.

Depends if Steve wants another job before the summer, Rangers would be a real chance to win something and make himself a hero. Expectation levels versus reality there is the problem.

Technical Advisor for UEFA with regards to supporting coaching.

Nice gig for him out of the spotlight until the summer I reckon.

Okay if Steve is happy that is all that matters.

Wonder if he's still on the Leicester payroll? As I understand it, sacked managers don't generally receive a bumper payment for the balance of their contract, they just remain on the payroll at their contractual rate. That's until they take another managerial job.

Cooper one of the candidates to replace Michael Carrick who has just parted company with Middlesbrough.

Feels like a good fit for him.

Definately. And them. Id love to see him get a team up again just so he can stick two fingers up to the dippers.

Wilder left Sheffield Utd.

Please don't do it Steve.

OMG if he goes there he might be dead to me.

RE: Stevie Cooper - Sausage Roll - 12-06-2025

Cooper had been linked to the Boro job but it looks like they're going for Rob Edwards.

Still no return to management for Steve.

Quiet a few Championship jobs have come up in recent weeks but aprt from Boro having a sniff he never seems to get linked with anyone.

Strange really.

Think I read somewhere he's been doing something with Uefa?

If that's the case maybe hes happy doing that and picking up a salalry from Leicester still.
