Whilst this is an overwhelmingly positive move can anyone answer how this effects ffp. I think I read somewhere that it has no bearing whatsoever and we will be very close to ffp sanctions unless Covid gives us extra leeway. The positives are that the club is laden with debt in the form of owner loans which in the past haven’t hurt is anyway but could do of the owner was a complete dick (hence for all his errors, I still have some respect for fawaz- if he really was that bad he could have completely killed the club like others).
Also it means we don’t have to do all the dodgy shenanigans of AVFC, DCFC, SWFC etc who have funnelled money in via the back door of asset buying stadiums etc under different company guises which I’m sure will be a loophole ffp will be looking to close.
It does go some way also in reinforcing the commitment of the owners. The stadium would confirm that to me!

I think football will continue with the concept of the rolling 4 years, instead of 3, through covid, allowing clubs to dump all their covid loses into the extra year & when the "covid year" become the 4th year it'll be dropped off the back & we'll revert to the rolling 3 year FFP.
Obviously that's not signed, sealed & delivered but it's the obvious move.

On going situation, there are more meetings taking place currently, crossing T' & dotting I's, hopefully there will be further developments & announcements in the next few months.

I was under the impression your income from the previous year would be added in for the FFP calcs to fill the void for lost income? Might've imagined that

Months? Hopefully weeks until we get some kind of news?

I initially typed weeks, then thought, this is Forest, & people will blame me if it's not spot on time wise, so I stretched it to months to cover my back, but I would expect news toward this end of the time frame, rather than the other end.

Haven't got a clue, but I do know that in all markets stock can go down as well as up & with covid hitting the transfer market that's junked a lot of FI stock & so a lot of people have gone from "Yay! Free money" to "Damn, where'd all my money go?" & as with anyone, losing anything, ever, that isn't a nice experience & a few people have been venting.
Has something untoward happened as well? I honestly don't know, but when ever you gamble you should do so knowing there are risks & that you may well lose & if you can't afford the loss, don't stake the money in the first place.
