Their end was like a throw back to the Trent end and it was a wonderful match I think was 3-0 verses Shrewsbury but could be wrong- on the pitch after - great fun. If you’d had said that day that Bournemouth would spend more time in the top division than us I’d have had you committed. Bournemouth in the prem is a perfect example of what's wrong with fooball in this country. Hate every thing about them. RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 16-02-2022 I just have an irrational dislike of Scott Parker, has an air of arrogant southerner about him that I cant stand. Think he is over rated as a manager, just landed on his feet with the clubs he has inherited. RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - jurgen rober - 16-02-2022 Totally agree SM - think you summed him up perfectly. Yep. He's reaping the rewards of having a successful playing career in London. He'll be found out as a maanger sooner or later. Hope his downfall starts on Friday. I think Harry Arter is married to his sister too. Wouldnt he want to look after his bro in law and take him off our hands? RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Georgecloney - 16-02-2022 Reading the weather forcast I wouldn't be surprised if this match gets postponed. RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 16-02-2022 Think south coast won’t be as badly affected. Windy though! Slightly off topic, but my Daughter was due to travel to Gateshead for a cup match today with Grantham Town. Gateshead phoned up this morning to cancel the game, so Grantham didnt have to travel all the way up there for nothing. She rang me up to tell me and said "What a bunch of wimps, calling the match off because of a bit of wind!" I replied, that 'bit of wind' will be gusting up to 70 to 90 MPH which will not only blow the match ball half way to Norway, but most likely most of your team players as well!" We've got gusts of 90mph already forecast for where i am - usually english channel acts as a funnel for winds so wouldn't be surprised to see it postponed. Even if it has calmed by the evening could be some significant damage plus is it safe to encourage travel when conditions are classed as life threatening. I know Bournemouth bought a near new team this jan but we shouldn’t fear them they were 1 down to Blackpool yesterday if they can score first so can we! Let's hope so. The 3 of them together do seem a particularly good blend though. Bournemouth squad is an array of talent, so despite a pretty crap manager (How did Fulham only finish 4th a couple of seasons back with best squad by miles) I am very nervous. |
