RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Marinakis Red - 08-10-2020

As much as I wanted someone else I am warming to him having researched a lot more with statistics. I think were on to a winner here and his first signing is going to be a top one.

So based on previous roles he generally goes for 442 or 4411, although we are a bit weak on wingers for these tactics. Say he sticks with that though, normal back 4, then colback/arter in the middle with ameobi/lolley on wings and freeman behind grabban?

Sure a new winger will be coming in Wassy. 100%.

Thats where I am. Its just a shame our excitement has been dampened somewhat by yesterday's comments.

I think so too. He'll want to make a statement signing, I think everybody does.

Hughton is a very well educated and very intelligent man.

He was waiting for the right club and right job to come along before he took another job.

That job is with Nottingham Forest, EM and Vrentzos.

Read into that whatever you like!

Its definitely the most positive aspect to come out of this whole situation, there's been comparisons to Fawaz but after the rejections he got. This feels like the opposite situation, whilst there are clearly issues there. This is a definite positive that he turned others down first. On paper a great appointment

Yeah thats fair, there's mighten to consider too. Either way I assume this will be the tactics, actually fits our squad reasonably well. With the option of Taylor coming in for arter if we wanted to be more attacking

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Widdow - 08-10-2020

My thoughts on the current forest manager have improved. Just listened to His interview in talksport and he came across very well and knows this is the biggest job he has taken on.

I am looking forward to what he can do and the difference he makes.

He can become a massive hero if he can get get us up.

I have been down on his appointment but now want to give Him my full Backing and hope he delivers success and make us proud of our club, get a attractive but winning style of play and bloody get out first 3 points.

Good luck CH

He does that Sniff, and interesting to note that despite all of us know alls on here (me included!), not once did he mention 4-2-3-1, which is very reassuring!

Looking forwards to the rest of the season now!

That could be but if you look at the Masterclass video his team is lined up against Man U in a 4-2-3-1.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - GaribaldiRED - 08-10-2020

And by the way, what's the problem with 4-2-3-1?

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - ThePromisedLand - 08-10-2020

He certainly hinted in his interview at further signings.
Talked about a balanced squad.
I think we can look forward to at least a couple more.
Hopefully he can balance by shedding 2 or 3.
