Think we will go domestic based for a replacement like sniff? Or think another pal from oly will come over? Like kamrembu?

However that is only half of the story. Vrentzos must also take a lot of credit for sorting out the huge financial mess that EM inherited when he bought the club from Fawaz.

There is no doubt that Vrentzos could have done better with the playing side of things but I doubt that many could have done better in getting our finances back on track.

If nothing else he seems to have ensured all our bills have been paid on time. There's not been one winding-up order since Marinakis took over.

They wouldnt let him come to us!

There is far more to any CEO’s role than ensuring the bills are paid and waiting for the phone to ring from PL clubs enquiring about our academy players.

A CEO is directly accountable to the board, in our case to Marinakis and is tasked by him to run the club. His/her role is to develop and deliver the long term strategy and increase the value of the business. So Vrentzos has certainly progressed the business in terms of making it stable, no mean feat all be it with significant funding from the owner.
But ultimately his objective was to deliver premier league football, the only way to ensure profit for any football club. Unfortunately in this he has failed and he is the fall guy for the business in the same way as the manager is for the team.

That is correct Widdow. Olympiakos fans would be furious.

Not really sure that's an achievement!

It is from where we were before!

With Vrentzos apparently having left the City Ground CEO position as being mentioned on a number of different news outlets, who do you guys believe should be talking up the mantle of getting this club moving forwards and upwards? Do we want a young enthusiastic person or an experienced CEO? male or female or is that not important? is football experience topped by business acumen? Any good existing CEO's that the Big Man can poach from another successfully run football club? Make no mistake this position is just as important to NFFC as the correct manager, hope they get it right!

Football is like no other industry so does EM go for an internal candidate who he's learned to trust, or does he go out and get an experienced football operator from outside his circle but who's very well connected in the game? I just hope whoever it is they're talented and also confident with the media as to this day, if I walked past Vrentroz in the street I wouldn't recognize him, such has been his low profile.

Sorry to deviate back to Wolves, but apparently they're going to appoint Bruno Hage as their manager, not Sabri.

As you were.
