Goncalves just scored a tremendous free kick vs. Arsenal in the Europa League.

The club’s chairman, Nicholas Randall QC, will be filming a Q&A with the Nottingham Forest Supporters' Trust Acting Chairman, Andy Caddell, next week.

Very welcome.
I will resist any pre judgement - but the fact that the Trust is involved doesn’t fill me with anticipation.

Good, better late than never.

Im sure Questions asked will revolver around next year season tickets, stadium redevelopment, academy Cat 1 application and covid impact. As its the Trust there will no doubt be a lot of questions around “worthy” issues too but opportunity for the club to do some trumpet blowing on community work etc. Its Randall who will be far smarter than any interviewer so expect lots of smiles and enthusiastic replies but short on detail for anything too challenging.

I would like to see a question regarding the sustainability of the owners commitment given the amount of money he has put in. Not a criticism of EM at all but no owner could be expected to lose £20M a year indefinitely. Would also like to hear some sort of response on our famous 5 year plan, what is realistic time frame to achieve promotion and how long does CH have to achieve it.

I’m sure we can all assume it’ll be very ‘curated’ so to speak

It's a start at least. This will probably be the first interview with anyone at the club other than the coaching staff since the day EM took over. If he gets a Paxman grilling it'll be the last too.

Stage managed.

But - it’s a welcome start.

Can't help but think the questions will have been vetted beforehand and the Trust will lap up the reasons why they are vetted with a relished enthusiasm.

Will the Q&A be available to ALL supporters to watch or just Trust members?

Sad. I thought that there were signs that he was started to get back to his best.

Hopefully with a good rest now and a full pre-season behind him this summer he'll be raring to go in August.
