No thanks to MON. Turned us down 3 times. Now at the arse end of his career and now fancies it

Forget Jardin he's never coming to us. Realistic targets imo, O'Neil, Jakanovic, Bruce.

I think O'Neil could do something with us still. I dont accept that he's finished. His Ireland players were shite. Kean com iing with him would be a worry because he loses it under pressure.

Jakanovic, I dunno. I just dont see how the current squad could adapt to him. Fulham hit a unbelievable vrun but could he dig us out of our historic lull?

Bruce knows the division insude out and his teams are constantly competitive. But, his football is dire. Thought he was unlucky at Villa. He turned them around. Then it all fell apart through no fault of his own.

Out of the three my head is saying Bruce but O'Neil is the romantic choice. Any of them will only get 12 months so id go O'Neil.

What's Martin O'Neill's management style?

Billy and Karanka are/were defensive counter attacking managers. SOD and Warburton were passing the ball around.

Bruce has had his people at the last 2 Sheff Wed games but not yet been appointed. Has he been approached by us? Is he stalling?

For the past 5 years it's been kick it at Daryl Murphy's or Jon Walters' heads and hope it ends up in the net for Ireland. Before that it was do the same but to Steven Fletcher's head at Sunderland. Before that it was do the same but to John Carew's head at Villa. Before that it was do the same but to Henrik Larsson's or John Hartson's head at Celtic.

No thanks to O'Neill, I don't fancy watching hoofball, out of the three mentioned I'd prefer Bruce at this moment in time.

He gets his team's set up to attack, and plays two fast wingers and also seems to find decent strikers, so for me I'd prefer him to the likes of O'Neill, Jakanovic, Allardyce, Clough etc.

Jokanovic!?!

Taken from Wiki because I can’t be bothered to dig out the full stats:

Jokanović lasted just over six months in the role before he elected to return to the Championship, joining Fulham on 27 December 2015 as head coach.[26] After avoiding relegation by 11 points, he achieved his target of a top six position for his first full season at Craven Cottage.[27]

Jokanović led Fulham to promotion by beating Aston Villa 1–0 at Wembley Stadium on 26 May 2018 in the play-off final.[28] On 14 November, however, after seven consecutive winless results and with the team ranking last, he was dismissed and replaced by Claudio Ranieri.[29]

How different is he to Karanka?

If we were to finish top six then the summary for both would be virtually identical.

Whoever comes in their job will be much more easy thanks to the excellent groundwork carried out by Aitor. Of the candidates, id take AK as the preferential choice.

What a complete arse of a situation.

He’s been on holiday.

Chris Wilder would be one of my preferred choices.
