That could be a good sign though.

Yeah, we have only ever heard very late in the day who is being signed over the past few windows.

In fairness, Gerrard did say that he wanted to have a look at him in pre-season before any decisions were made on his future. We are only just over a week after last season ended. Give em a chance lads!!!

We can't sit around waiting for Gerrard to make up his mind at the start of August though.

I think that is what managers say to get a bigger bid. Not likely to say the lad is surplus to requirement and knock 5 million off his total are they.

If we negotiate with villa a price both are happy with, the chances are he will be here fairly soon.

Yes that makes sense ^^

RE: Keinan Davis - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 11-06-2022

Davis being written off by most Villa fans for what it's worth.
Personally I think he's mint and would welcome him back with open arms.

If he doesnt fit in to the style of play Villa are accustomed to, it is easy to see why many dont rate him as his strengths are more akin to the Cooper/Forest way.

RE: Keinan Davis - wassy04 - 11-06-2022

This one just makes too much sense not to happen. He may not quite be good enough at finishing but on the other hand a full season may allow him to improve.

Unless we've managed to line up some superstar alternative, this will surely happen. Right?

RE: Keinan Davis - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-06-2022

Think we will get him and for nowhere near the fee that was being talked about earlier.

Agreed, that was just Villa trying to talk it up. Lots of add ons probably

Noticed he wasn't in Watford's squad the other night.

He must be injured again.

Only 3 things certain in life and they are death, taxes and Keinan Davis being injured.

He played yesterday but he got hooked off even though they were 0-1 down and needing a goal.

He's injured his hamstring again at Watford.

I can see why we didn't gamble on him in the summer.

RE: Keinan Davis - DeesideRed - 28-05-2024

interesting to see Keinan Davis scoring a huge goal in Serie A to save Udinese and their manager Fabio Cannavaro from relegation

In correct place Sniff
