I had a feeling once the window was closed or when we got another striker in it would come out the extent of his injury, I would get another striker too and leave taiwo out the 25

+1 that would be gutting for him.
Would imagine his sole focus will be to get for for the summer now, yes he needs to be left out of the squad.

Since when has he ever got anything right !

How many players in our whole squad (not just new signings) have actually improved and look better players since Dyche came in?

Answer = Zero.

In fact many like Anderson, CHO, Murillo and MGW have actually gone backwards.

Williams and Dominguez have done okay to be fair.

RE: Current Players Thread - DeesideRed - 24-01-2026

Sangare for a start and Anderson been better alongside in that 2. CHO better as anonymous start of season. Milenkovic significantly improved.

The dross remains dross. You said elsewhere they don't become bad players overnight, importing from France is notoriously difficult as it's a useless league. NDoye lacks the pace and physicality imo but jury still out

He has stopped the rot that Nuno started and Ange continued by stabilising the defence. Sels and Milenkovic in particular were both totally shot on confidence when Dyche came in. We mostly look like last years team and Ive stopped praying each and every time we concede a corner.

That said in possession we look an utter shambles with no clue how to break down an opponent however limited. Its so frustrating to have thrown away last seasons lethal counter attacking style. Some but not all of that blame is down to Dyche.

Utter codswallop.

Our so called ''11 team players'' are a shadow of what they were last season.

We will agree to disagree
Our back 5 is back to looking like last season. They were a shadow under Ange. We have lost our attacking threat from Wood and Elnga which made us flatter to deceive.
I am not however for a second saying that what we are watching is acceptable.

MGW has scored more goals under Dyche than he did under Ange and Coops I believe?

Not sure about under Nuno but can’t be far off.

Murillo had been very poor for some time, the whole defence had looked shaky, he’s put more good performances in under Dyche this season than he did under either Nuno or Ange.

Anderson has been run into the ground, he had no rest in the Summer and it was inevitable that his performances would dip.

RE: Current Players Thread - DeesideRed - 24-01-2026

Well that silenced that point.

Yes right, 1 or 2 have looked slightly better.

What about the other 23?

Don't they count?

Look at our league position and look at our performances and compare them to last season and then tell me that players have improved and are doing better under Dyche.
