Hope we can tie Sabri down to a new deal in the summer no matter which division we are in. Trouble is he now has a lot of admirers.

I genuinely (and possibly naively) believe he would turn other offers down and see if he can get us up, if we don't go up this season.

He does appear to have an affection for the club and the city and I think he is overawed by the support our fans can give, both at home and away, especially the atmosphere that can be generated within the WFCG.

Hope you are right tricky. An offer from a top team in his homeland might be difficult for him to turn down but hopefully it won't come to that.

He has done more than enough to be given a new contract for next season. Time to get it done and give the dressing room a real buzz going intot the business end of the season.

I agree 100% McForest.

Personally after tonight's shocking display I think the big man will see what happens at the end of this season before they decide on offering him a new contract.

Sabri has got us much higher in the table than we should be on paper. However, he has been very naive in some of his selections this year. Cash for example should have been rested for one of the last 2 games. Jenkinson should have played one of them and possibly the away game as crowd gets on his back because he isn’t cash. Also Yates... he suited the game v Millwall and not Middlesbrough. I know he scored but I swear we don’t concede 2 of tonight’s goals If he is playing.

Can you just imagine the meltdown though Ozzy if Sabri rested Cash for Jenkinson and we lost? He would have been crucified.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Username - 07-03-2020

I do question why he keeps bringing on Diakarby over Mighten.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-03-2020

Its not much of a choice though is it. Mighten would have been bullied last night, Diakhaby is clueless. As for resting players as Ozzy says, we tried that against QPR if you remember. The only team dilemma last night was Semedo/Yates/Bostock. He played his strongest 11 which has worked for the most part this season.
At the risk of giving Alf an open goal, we have little cover and zero options to bring on who could change a game.

Might have?

We’ll only know if he plays.

He can’t do any worse.

Diakarby offers nothing. He shouldn’t be here. We should send him back if he we can. We should send him back even if we can’t.

It worries me that Sabri persists with him.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-03-2020

You are probably correct and at least we would develop one of our own players. Whether bringing on Mighten to chase a lost cause last night would have helped his development is another matter.
