It's a guess, & a tad defeatist, but I'm guessing with little to no difference available from the bench he opted to get as many minutes in Freeman & Grabban as possible, as they both lack their peak match sharpness at the moment. RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - ThePromisedLand - 17-03-2021 Our pressing has been spasmodic - individuals without any clear strategy. How many players have bust a gut tonight? I’ve see no one at least put a foot in. Too many in red just strolling around. If that’s what we’ve become then I fear for our future. Wonder how many current season card holders would renew having watched the last 90 minutes of garbage. The players have been coached out of attacking, so once it’s 0-2 it’s pretty much game over. Even Derby came back from 0-2 against Brentford last night, but with us it’s game over with the approach Hughton has instilled in the players. RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - ozzyten10 - 17-03-2021 Well done to Figgs and mckenna - RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - Knocker West - 17-03-2021 I wonder if Lee Bowyer would be interested in Lyle Taylor? I know they fell out because Bowyer felt Taylor deserted Charlton at a critical point of the season, but that's kind of not an issue now, is it? I’m seriously considering not renewing....A change of manager could save it for me.... RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - ozzyten10 - 17-03-2021 Norwich light years ahead. At least a correct score prediction! Cafu was a bit of a one man pressing machine RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - Knocker West - 17-03-2021 (17-03-2021, 09:50 PM)stirred Wrote: That’s because they’re drilled to defend and try to nick one from a set piece. The players have been coached out of attacking. You make it sound like Forest were set up to attack at some point in the last 3 years. Apart from those that were born here in the academy I don't think we have any players here from the last time we coached a team to lead from the front. RE: Nottingham Forest - Norwich City - Plymouth red - 17-03-2021 How many times have we come from behind this season and got something out of a game? There seems so little fight in this side the moment they fall behind. Tonight they offered nothing and it was a very easy 90 minutes for Norwich who were professional and got the job done. I don't expect this side to win every game but I would love to see some fight. I would love to see a side that puts pressure on the opposition when trying to find a way back into the game. That is prepared to get players into the opposition box and try to get back into it. |
