i got to say Bong's work down the line and composure and delivery for the cross was perfect and Taylor's finish sublime
and for the first 15 minutes we had most of the ball and high up the pitch, Bong was linking up well with a slightly out of sorts Ameobi and won us another 2 corners ... then well, it started to change and it turned into quite an ugly sort of game and virtually no threat from us
CH switched Ameobi with Lolley to swap wings in the 2nd half and this had absolutely no positive impact
But we kept a clean sheet and won and are in the draw for tonight
There are a few concerns but winning is winning
CH and no doubt most managers must be perplexed when after preparing for a game how it all transpires on the pitch as he said 'they made hard work of it'
You can't blame Arter or anyone really as the default, defensive scoop ball is virtually impossible to gain possession from let alone get a move going or so it seems

I feel like that's very old news, everyone has seen how well he's come on since then. Or at least I thought that was the general consensus.
This is exactly what I meant though, I'm not referring to recent form necessarily, just the assumption that on paper we have a good team. I don't think we do personally, all the players you referred to before are ones that were good a few years ago if at all, not sure why you'd judge a player based on their best season years ago as opposed to the body of work they've provided since then. Lolley fits the bill here, is his level that one season where he was really good or all the other years of his career where he's not reached that level?
I just think people need to readjust their expectations of the ability of the squad then perhaps they will be less critical when they are inevitably not that great.

FA Cup 4th and 5th Round Draws at 7pm tonight BBC 2 as in right now !!!
Everybody i'm seeing in the draw feels like some sort of revenge mission for something or other they done to us
I'd take any home draw on the telly hopefully a winnable, maybe Sheff U would be a good challenge
