How the hell has Martinez become the 'worlds best keeper' . He's not even the best keeper in the premier league.

Not even close.

Is he even the best in the Midlands?

Just had a look at his career to date and it's not very impressive although he will point to his World Cup winners medal.

Fairly certain the reference will be regards the Ballon D'Or where he was probably the highest placed GK.

Its the Yashin trophy which is given to the highest ranked Gk and selected by Ballon d’Or winners

Highest ranked Goalkeeper based on what exactly?

If Argentina hadn't won the World Cup he wouldn't have had a sniff of the award.

Messi and FIFA hype. Any excuse to have more focus on Messi and Argentina $$$$$$.

Apparently we had been working on getting full backs bombing on and cutting back for long shots- Sangare was the one that had been bashing them in during training in the week but fair play - the attic worked…

Saw this before the game and forgot to share… seems a bit of a pillock just seeing what he posts on his timeline

I suppose when you have an injury crisis among the CF's you need to find other ways of scoring goals.
Although Awoniyi was critical, he held the ball up to play out to Toffolo.

True, but is also helps to have more than 1 way of scoring - makes more space for your original way of scoring!! I'd like to think this was being worked on before any injury crisis....

Now, to get better at set pieces....

You're not suggesting the Ballon D'Or is an over-hyped popularity contest?
