We're bottom of the top 8 just about.
We were top of the bottom 8 last season.
We've largely by-passed the middle 8? Which, for me, is progress...
...but I didn't spend £25 million to be 'happy' with that.

Depends what story you want to believe, however you’d have to be pretty myopic to not accept that they were a contributory factor.
