After watching that today and hearing his post match interview he's gone in the summer unless we go up.. What a talent. It's not just Brennan. Worrall, back in the side today, and Forest are a different side with his presence in the side. It was an utter transformation. Got to keep these players and get promoted this season. Today was a transformational performance. You have to get promoted if you can play like that against Arsenal and Leicester. We BELONG IN THE PREMIERSHIP! SA. RE: Brennan Johnson - Paplane - 07-02-2022 How much is Brennan worth today? I reckon he's added £5m on to his price today. If he carries on doing well in these high profile games we could be looking at 25 to 30 mill in the summer. RE: Brennan Johnson - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 07-02-2022 The best thing for Johnson and his career right now is to stay exactly where he is and to continue doing exactly what he is doing. Thank God people at the club and the player himself realise that. RE: Brennan Johnson - Paplane - 07-02-2022 Does anyone know what the record transfer fee is for championship player? If we do lose him it could potentially give us 3 transfer windows without ffp worries. That would get you promotion imo. I've not fact-checked this so it could be wrong, and it depends if you class him as a Championship player as I think they sold him in the close-season after they got relegated, but I think Bournemouth got £40m for Nathan Ake. RE: Brennan Johnson - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 07-02-2022 Some of you rubbing your hands together at the thought of him going. Getting promoted to the PL by selling your best player's is not the model we want to follow. RE: Brennan Johnson - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-02-2022 Heard that he hasn’t signed because the contract offer we put on the table would have kept him as one of the lowest paid in the squad. Daft because a trivial amount in the grand scheme of things and as his worth has rocketed he will want more to accept now than he would have done a couple months ago. Sniff no ones doing that but you cant deny the gravitational pull of the premier league. All im saying is we're now in a win win situation with Brennan. He's better off too having not signed the contract he was insisting upon. If he had he'd be a brentford sub now. He was a prem player though really. Im thinking Olly Watkins. Wasnt he like 30mill or something? Is Brennan any less of a talent than he was? I don't think any one of us are rubbing our hands Sniffer. Just being realistic. He's a special talent and we should just enjoy him while he is here. Even commentators were saying with or without Forest he is in the Premiership next season. RE: Brennan Johnson - wassy04 - 07-02-2022 I'm going as far as being disappointed he chose to represent Wales above England. I think Barnes on the other side is a good example of the level Johnson could reach fairly quickly |
