Yes, when we were in the Premier League he won it with us.

I'm just a little concerned now that the world is begining to become aware that there's something good going on with us. 2nd in the league, manager of the month, Man Utd reputedly copying elements of our transfer approach, prem scouts watching our players.

Just shows how much the media and pundits know - none of them had us anywhere at the start of the season.

I am sure Sabri learnt a lot yesterday. They say that you learn more in defeat.

I expect a positive reaction on Wednesday night.

I can only think he changed formation to accommodate Mir up top. Didn't work. Might have done if a couple of the half chances we had were put away and we'd gone in at half time 1 up. I'd agree with Sabri, we weren't brilliant, but it wasn't a stinking performance from the players.

I think Sabri thought our quality would be enough to beat a poor-ish Wigan team. If you're going to give Mir game time, then this was probably the game to do it.

As you say, hope he learns from it. I put the responsibility for the defeat down to him but wont be critical of him, he's been excellent to date.

Fair post but I don't. If he'd had better quality to replace some of the players with, like he shoudl over a 46 game season, we'd have still come away with points.

Think he made a few bad choices, but also Bostock for Sow & Mir for Grabban is just too big a dip in quality, and that's down to Modesto & the board.

Sabri's gonna be forced to play as strong a first 11 as he can until Jan. Then, if we're to be able to genuinely cope with the burn-out of older players like Watson which will follow back end of the season, we have to bring in far more ready-now players than Bostock, Mir, Muric, Semedo, Ameobi etc.

One defeat when we should really have come away with a point and people are questioning recruitment strategy. A bit of an overreaction.

To be fair Semedo also out didn’t help, silva should’ve started though that was odd too given he played well previous game

Surely Wednesday night at home made way more sense to play Mir? Theoretically easier game and would’ve meant Grabban had a rest between the two games. Just hope it wasn’t because of any injury to Grabban otherwise we’re a bit screwed

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Salvatore Matrecano - 23-10-2019

We have been saying that we will learn about the team and if the manager is the real deal by how we react to a blip in results. Well here is the blip, need a positive reaction on Saturday now.

I have a bad feeling this is going south

2 defeats, no panic. It will swing around again.
