Maybe, maybe not but there are games since then where I think we may well have done better. Certainly its a pretty pointless debate as we'll never know. 

Facts are 11 points from Nuno's 12 games and 14 from Cooper's 13 games. So I think it's a bit disingenuous to claim we're doing better.

Yes it’s not good but it’s a slight improvement.

Bad maths on my part, can't count! I certainly don't see it as a clear improvement either way, marginally better so far.

Non statistically speaking I'd say it's clear that we're much closer in almost all games under nuno. Without the bad luck we've had, the vast majority would agree that we've deserved more points than we've accumulated since Nuno took over. That's not an excuse, it's still worrying, but I believe that our 'luck' simply has to change and we will achieve the required points.

The reality is we are not accumulating any more points, making the same mistakes and battling to stay out of the relegation zone. So far sacking Cooper and appointing Nuno hasn’t worked. Those two early wins against Newcastle and Man utd are just giving Nuno a better points ratio but they are increasingly looking like a distant memory. Our form throughout 2024 has been abysmal and on a par with Cooper’s worst runs. Not just in the league either. We made such hard work of beating Blackpool and needed penalties against Bristol. It was a big call to sack Cooper considering what he had done in the previousTm two years, including keeping us in the division in a season long relegation battle. The view was he had run out of ideas and a change would improve our form. It hasn’t. No getting away from that. Cooper is history now though and the question is would a change improve our results now. My view is they couldn’t get much worse.
