How do you know he's not committing? He might be desperate to sign on the dotted line.

He came to Athens he was offered a new deal he hasn't signed it.

Doesn't look like he's committing to me, not yet anyway.

If he's desperate to sign then what is he waiting for?

Terms being presented that he feels reflect his achievement and talent? Maybe he's been insulted by the offer made.

There's two ways to look at this.

I thought it was only a matter of time before this got turned around to being the owners fault.

I do agree though that the non signing of the contract, for whatever reason, may be drawing down the positivity the club seems to have created over the last year.

Whoever's at fault, whether that be Cooper, the club or both need to sort it because it will be a significant contributionary factor to whether this season ends in success or failure.

Sniff, you know in the past I've defended this owner. We just don't know the facts, that's all.

No worries mate we will leave it there Pap.

I will just add though that maybe the sun doesn't shine from Cooper's arse like many think it does.

Maybe the contract is an open offer it’s on the table to sign anytime
But just maybe cooper is really a genuine honest guy and he himself will not sign it until he has proved himself worthy off it
Just saying like !

And how does that help anyone?

It doesn't.

And there we agree. The truth probably is that last season's success was not entirely down the one man as is the current narrative. For example, the decision by the club not to sell Brennan last January was a decision that propelled the side on to promotion.

Definitely played a major roll that Pap.

How soon before this gets dusted down again then Sniff? I can't see EM and son accepting many more performances like this one.

I will continue to back Cooper come what may but its pretty irrelevant. Something looks very wrong, shape, tactics, personnel, spirit, commitment all of that is way below where we should be.
