Yes but McGuane is injured and the other 4 are out on loan so how can he play them? To be fair to Hughton he's played Mighten, Swan and Soh. Unpopular opinion possibly but I would loan him to L1 next year. He should have been loaned this season really given his involvement, I think it has probably set back his development. He desperately needs more time on the pitch playing competitively and Im not convinced he will het it here even next season. Agree with both of you but CH likes Knockaert. I would rather loan him next season than have him getting frustrated sitting on the bench. We run the risk he ends up like Walker, never getting an opportunity then electing to move away for peanuts. Incidentally Walkers stats this season would have him as our highest scorer and equal highest on assists. RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - TheGreenMan - 27-03-2021 I’d certainly be wanting to keep Mighten next season fighting for a first team place. I’d be very disappointed if he was to go out on loan. I don’t think he should’ve started every game this season, but I certainly would’ve like to have seen a little more this season. And as for knockaert he can stay at Fulham for all I care. Johnson - nailed on. He’s an elite talent who will play in Prem. Mcguane - talented but fitness issues. Down to how much he wants to have a successful career. One that could come good but not a banker like Johnson. Swan - nowhere near yet, will need a L2 loan next season. Gabriel - should be in squad but prob won’t start as first choice. Defo got the tools to play at top end champ level. Fornah - needs more polish to his game before he would be trusted by Hughton. Another L1 loan and then would hopefully be ready in 12 months RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-03-2021 Thank you Reds73. So Hughton can only count on Johnson for next season. A lot of work to be done then... RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - Portchester Tricky - 27-03-2021 What about the Brazilian / Guatemalan DCM, Marcelo Saraiva. Looks a unit , same age as Garner. Judging by videos has the same effortless short and long range passing, and gets stuck in. Never gets a mention.
