A few more interesting tweets from Daniel Taylor today. He seems a bit frustrated:

"My take on Chris Hughton situation at #NFFC is probably a bit different to most of the others. I hope he is allowed to manage, first and foremost. And I hope he doesn't encounter the issues that Lamouchi, O'Neill and, in particular, Karanka had to deal with."

"When a bloke like MON is leaving out his goalkeeper on club's wishes, it sums everything up. Pantilimon doesn't want to leave and then gets insulting bomb-squad treatment. Not even allowed to play in Vincent Kompany's testimonial. This is modern NFFC. Ask Ribeiro, for one"

and when asked if Vrentzos was the problem he replied:

"Who else is there? Marinakis is in Greece and Oly is his baby. So much so we get their castoffs and they come after our first-team players, destabilising the entire team and dressing room. Forest, at the City Ground, is a one-man operation. Nobody else."

Oh dear. Sounds like Taylor has an axe to grind with EM. It sounds personal to me looking in from the outside.

None of us know what actually goes on behind closed doors we just have to go on what we see.

What is indisputable is that Karanka walked very quickly when there was a change of personnel. The situation with O’Neill seemingly changed overnight. There is a history of players such as Pantillimon and Ribeiro being ostracised for no obvious footballing reason.

I do sense that something isn't right.

Why is Taylor doing this now? We have built a very good squad, we have appointed a very good manager.

Very bad timing from Taylor. Hope he knows what he's doing and that he isn't getting out of his depth...

But isn’t that the problem? They should give a s**t what he, or any other Forest fan, thinks about our football club.

Whatever it is that's happened though with Dan Taylor, something has obviously caused him to go for it today. I'm disappointed with his timing as I'm really happy we have Hughton & the tweets have obviously caused a stir.

If they don’t give a s**t - then the situation is even worse than DT suggests.

They should care.

One would hope that - at the very least - they ( EM, Vrentzos, Randall et al ) learn from this.

Surely the communication needs stepping up - it started great and seemingly more transparent but now has gone right off.

There’d be less conspiracy if there was more of a connection between the top brass and the fans

Even a public face- a liaison that could be rolled out and at least give a clubside opinion. Probably someone with a skin like a rhino but someone that could brief the local journos etc

I dont understand why it is fair game on this forum to criticise the performance of the players or the manager but some people get very defensive when criticism is aimed at the club hierarchy?
It is a perfectly natural discussion. Vrentzos is a club employee, not the owner so no reason for his performance not to be analysed?
