A few more interesting tweets from Daniel Taylor today. He seems a bit frustrated:

"My take on Chris Hughton situation at #NFFC is probably a bit different to most of the others. I hope he is allowed to manage, first and foremost. And I hope he doesn't encounter the issues that Lamouchi, O'Neill and, in particular, Karanka had to deal with."

"When a bloke like MON is leaving out his goalkeeper on club's wishes, it sums everything up. Pantilimon doesn't want to leave and then gets insulting bomb-squad treatment. Not even allowed to play in Vincent Kompany's testimonial. This is modern NFFC. Ask Ribeiro, for one"

and when asked if Vrentzos was the problem he replied:

"Who else is there? Marinakis is in Greece and Oly is his baby. So much so we get their castoffs and they come after our first-team players, destabilising the entire team and dressing room. Forest, at the City Ground, is a one-man operation. Nobody else."

I don't know if Taylor gets to see all our games but IMO Pantillimon wasn't good enough even for the bomb squad.

And Ribeiro, Silva, maybe even Figs must've asked for pay rises or something, to invoke the Vrentzos wrath of fury.

^ pretty damning - and reinforces the doubts about the way our club is being (mis)managed ^

I for one don’t buy into ‘opportunistic journo’ view.
Danny Taylor is a top journalist & loyal fan.
There have clearly been some issues - just hope, as he says, Hughton is allowed to do his job.

Thanks Paplane.

Taylor isn't holding back today huh?

Woke up really positive about us getting Hughton but this raises genuine concerns for me. Concerns I hadn't really had with these owners before.

A few other bits from his Tweets.

“It’s classless and typical. The place is amateurish, but it can also be downright nasty. See Karanka situation, just for starters. Toxic/appalling atmosphere behind scenes. Staff morale on floor. People seem to be leaving all the time. It all goes to the culture at top of club.”

“I’m tired of protecting them to be honest. The playing side is one thing. Good luck to Hughton, I would love it to be different for him. He is going to need broad shoulders to deal with Vrentzos and this regime. Karanka couldn’t take it. MON tried, Sabri was a puppet by the end.”

“It's a great club, Forest. A club known round the world. Whoever gets the team up is a hero. They had loads applying for it. It is never going to work though unless there are other big changes inside the club.”

Re possibly losing Gary Brazil to another academy…

“The academy they were going to upgrade? File with the new stand (believe it when it happens). And the promise they gave me that 'we will act with the class/dignity of Arsenal'. Gary Brazil is a hero in my eyes - and thank God for him. Without him, the club would be screwed.”

Some interesting observations / accusations.
As you say he ain’t holding back.
Some will say it’s sour grapes. It’s just another journo spouting off.
Everyone will make up their own mind.
If half of what he says is true - it’s a shambles.
I - for one - have no reason to disbelieve anything that Danny Taylor says.

I certainly remember him being very supportive of the new regime. I also think he is right. The way we treat people will bite us on our arse at some stage...

They can't even treat their own fans with any respect and/or dignity and without fans, no money passes through their bank accounts

Oh dear. Sounds like Taylor has an axe to grind with EM. It sounds personal to me looking in from the outside.

Taylor really is on a rant today, havent seen this sort of thing since the Fawaz days. His latest tweet about how the club will react.

“They will be reading every word, feeding it back to the boss, scared to breathe, even though they know every single bit of it is true”
