Let's hope we can keep him for years to come. He will be vital in what Forest are trying to build.

I said the same thing from the off, took a bit of stick early on when he was being overloaded on and didn't know whether to stick or twist...but it's good to get it right.  Now Carvalho....... he's going nowhere.

I watched that WBA game where he was caught out of position then beaten easily for their first goal and thought "here we go its Osborn all over again". Could not have been more wrong. We knew he'd be decent going forward still but it's the tackling that has caught me off guard. He's so difficult to beat, makes you wonder why he was ever a midfielder!

I was thinking that the other day. How has he got to the age he has without anyone thinking he could do a job as a full back?
I think Warburton said that he thought Matty had the perfect attributes to be a quality modern day full back

Worrall didn’t deserve a 6, terrible for both their goals yesterday.

if i'm going to base everything on the result everyone gets a really low score

if Grabban had scored the penalty we would of won 6 nil and we would all of been raving about what a great game it was and everyone would of been off the charts

even if we'd 'only' got the draw, after a bit of reflection and realising we've gained a point on Leeds we would all of been quite happy especially against a backdrop of good results

The reality is, it was a funny old game yesterday, so really trying to move on emotionally i'm going to give the entire squad 11/10 for pure laugh out loud 'couldn't of predicted that' humour

Think that's pretty generous to jenkinson/diakhaby.
Also harsh on Bong, he really wasnt that bad.

I am sure Forest were doing their own version of ITV's " The Masked Singer" at the City Ground last night, and I worked out who all of them were...

Marco Pascola performing as Samba - rating 6
Gino Padula performing as Jenkinson - 4
Danny Cullip performing as Worrall - 5
Andy Melville performing as Figueiredo - 5
Danny sonner performing as Watson - 5
Gary Jones performing as Yates - 4
Kevin James performing as Lolly - 5
Djamel Abdoun performing as Silva - 3
Nicolau Dumitru of course was performing as Diakhaby - 2
Eugene Dadi performing as Walker - 4
Rafik Djebbour performing as Da Costa - 2
Nicky Eaden performing as Cash - 3
Gary Megson performing as Semedo - 1

And the obvious winner - Bong - a lame donkey ready for the glue factory. Rating 0.5

I think the whole crowd were shouting take it off, take it off!

And of course it was Philippe Montanier performing as Sabri Lamouchi

Of course Sabir did make the mistake making all those changes and put even more pressure on himself to put out a team on Saturday to beat West Brom. For me thought, the biggest mistake was the missed chance to improve the team / squad in January. Clearly the players brought in last month are not good enough, it was more a case of quantity rather than quality, and now we have to hope the players can pick themselves up for WBA and put things right and make sure we can keep the first 11 fit for the last 14 games, as the back-up is shocking. Oh the terrible memories. That team is the footballing equivalent of hell.

Unfair that our best performance of the season a few days ago doesnt deserve any rating? In the interests of balance I will have a go at both.

Vs Leeds
Samba 9
Cash 8
Ribeiro 8
Worrall 8
Ribeiro 9
Sow 8
Watson 7
Ameobi 8
Silva 8
Lolley 9.5
Grabban 8

Subs
Diakhaby 7
Yates 7
Walker 7

Lamouchi 10 Tactics superb

Vs Charlton

Samba 6
Jenkinson 4
Bong 3
Worrall 6
Figs 6
Watson 6
Yates 3
Silva 5
Diakhaby 4
Lolley 7
Walker 6

Subs
Semedo 4
Cash 6
Da Costa 6 (didnt see enough to rate him)

Lamouchi 4

Over the two games we clearly have a reasonable but inconsistent side in there which is why we are 5th and not top.

Finding today very hard to rate in my head so could probably tinker with these all night. Didnt really enjoy watching it to be honest.

Samba 7.5
Cash 7 - obviously needs few games
Ribeiro 7 - Wednesday were hitting a few balls over his head targeting him
Worrall 7.5 - excellent block to make up for leaving Rhodes through in first half
Fig 7 - another that looked wrecked
Yates 6 - lost every header in the air with wickham and slow in general play
Silva 6 - didnt take the game by scruff. Very average
Johnson 6 - won a couple of free kicks. Didnt notice much else
Ameobi 6.5 - typical ameobi
Lolley 7 - uncharacteristically poor tracking in first half. Excellent goal
Grabban 6.5 - extremely thankless job.

We didnt threaten once in first half. Everybody seems to be ahead of carvalho in getting a game. Just get rid . Not feeling a promotion vibe from this team.
