That is the day I fell in love with Nottingham Forest I was just a nipper and my dad took me to the match.

Not an anniversary but I watched a repeat highlights of the Villa 5 Forest 5 game form 3 years ago on Sky last night.
4 out of 11 of that starting line up still with us, the things that struck me:
We really miss the Joe Lolley we had then, even if we could use him as an impact sub but he played at that level it would be great.
There was a young Portuguese lad in midfield who was playing sublime passes, what became of him?
Our back 4 was Darikwa Dawson Figs and Robinson, Figs was red carded and on came Hefele, was it any wonder we conceded 5 !
Pantillimon was in goal, for 3 of Villas goals he stood and watched like a statue, awful keeper.

This is around about the time that I started to support Forest as well. I wasnt at this match I do know, I think my first match was against Orient in the February. I went down on my own after my dad had been given a spare ticket (he was a Derby fan for his sins having been born in Ambergate). I was 12 years old and stood in the Main Stand, next to the Trent End.

I can't remember who my second match was against, but I do know I stood on the Trent End for the first time. Then spent many happy years stood in that famous old stand afterwards, including of course those glorious years under Cloughie and Taylor.

This is in my top 3 away games ever. The scenes when Roy Keanes header hit the back of the net...

On this day 11/3 in 1988, Brian Rice scored THAT goal as Nottingham Forest beat Arrsenal 2-1 at Highbury, meaning Brian Clough had at long last, reached the FA Cup semi-finals.

Best game Ive ever been to.

Omg my heart stopped in those few seconds between Rice receiving the ball and it hitting the net. If ever there wasnt a player you wanted in that position it was Rice! Fair play though, it was a brilliant lob. Happy days.
