Wins for Luton, Stoke and Coventry/Blackpool on Tuesday will really put the pressure on the top six.

Some great games on Wednesday.

Blackburn (2nd) v Us (8th). (Must.  Win.)
Preston (11th) v Huddersfield (5th). (Judders consistent, and Preston capable of an upset.)
Sheffield United (10th) v West Brom (6th). (Sheff U on the march...and WBA fragile.)
QPR (4th) v Boro (7th). (Interesting one this.)

State of the Universe.

On paper our first 11 feels like it's good enough to be a top 2 side but maybe we had too many points to make up from those first two months.

We've had our moments to close the gap (eg. Cardiff game and others, and a few, under Cooper where losing Lowe upset our balance and we got some draws) and we haven't quite been able to get inside the top 6.

Certainly the 1st two months, if you get that back under Cooper and the current squad?  We'd be top 2.

Stalwarts Sheff U, Preston have all closed the gap on the top 6.

Luton, too, have show what a few wins do for a team in the 2nd Division.

Even Blackpool have crept onto 40 points. Just '3' behind Forest.

I was all for fielding a weakened team against Leicester to focus on the league but having watched us dismantle them so brilliantly, I completely take that back......we just must take the confidence, the energy and way of playing and do the same every match until the end of the season! No more Cardiff performances please!!!

Spot on, strongest team every game - if players do get injured then those on the bench must step up and maintain the standards.

I suspect Surridge will start for Davis who has done everything right for me but probably these 2 will rotate especially for mid week games. Maybe Laryea?

Stick with same side. Davis is young lad who needs game time. He has been an absolute beast and has given our attack a completely new dimension.

Ultimately if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The players will know this game is just as big as the leicester game and has the potential to be more significan long term.

They can start with him at least.  Then give him a rest later on in the game.

I think Colback may come in but don’t know who for? Possibly zink as away? I wouldn’t change a thing unless showing in legs
