Who would you choose guys ?
It’s Lolley for me everyday he creates and scores more and is a team player

If it’s the Lolley of 2 yrs ago then Lolley.

However I am concerned by his drastic fall off. Confidence and specifically a lack of can be drastic especially for attacking players.

I do think Brennan will be a regular starter next season in one of the 3 attackers behind a centre forward.

His career is on an upward trajectory

The situation re: Lolley is 'poised.' We'll see if he can get back to his best. (He's going to have to be if Hughton shakes the bag in the Summer.). But it's clear that Hughton likes players who are robust and fit. That can do what it says on the tin. Both Lolley and Grabban have been looking more like yesterday's men. If Sow is not fit he won't get renewed. (Whispers of him being transferred in Jan'? Though Hughton seemed to suggest not as he was quite integral in the Forest revival at the time). It will be the same for Lolley. If he can't get his form or fitness back he may also end up leaving. We may well have seen the best of him and the rest of this season is the last roll of the dice for him...perhaps.

I would imagine Hughton would pick Knocker over Lolley. And has been doing so.

Like Red73 says, Brennan will be a regular starter next season as part of a 3. He's on fire for the Imps. An absolute belter for them on Saturday.

That's football. Stars rise and fall.

Good quote.

He also said after the game, 'We're not running hard enough.'  *(Here's looking at you Knocker for not tracking back on the goal.)

He's on more money than Lolley?

We've not had proper depth for years & as you highlight that brings it's own problems.

It's not about having a big squad, it's about having the right squad, the right combination of players to get the job done.

Every season we carry far to many passengers & it's something that has to change.

I'd like to have a boiler plate plaque made of that for Forest's recruitment dept...and nailed to the door or the wall.  Either would do.

Fortunately, I think Brazil and Hughton get that.  (Hopefully, Forest's have banished the dart board used for recruiting players...)

(It's been a perennial problem.  Forest need to 'stick with a plan' instead of chopping and changing managers too often.  You end up with a patchwork quilt of a squad.  Re: 'Passengers.').

Yeah.  And do an actual pre-season with the manager you intend to keep for the season.  Dat too.  :P

I just want to see Mckenna get fit and stay fit and play week in week out with Worrall.

Worrall - Mckenna. It will be the best CH partnership in the league.

I think it’s likely a Prem CH partnership with a European golden boy shortlisted as reserve.

The McKenna situation still makes me frustrated, the fact we could have & should have bought him cheaper several years & several CB's ago & is a perfect example of us wasting money.

Im not sure we could- a few years ago he was touted as a 9m player and Arsenal were sniffing.  I wonder if his injury proneness was a reason he wasnt snapped up?

We could, & we should

See:

We had a fixed price on the table, put there by Aberdeen, McKenna put in a transfer request to help (it helps force the move & takes his loyalty bonus off the table as a sweetener to Aberdeen) & we just had to put a few more hundred thousand on the table, & we pulled out, then went for Figgy in the next window instead.

Yeah agreed the fee we were quoted a few years ago was higher than we paid and that was rejected. Plus there were other teams sniffing around.

I think the combination of the pandemic and his injury prone nature meant he ended up at Forest

Worrall - Mckenna.
Worrall - Figs.
Worrall - Soh.

I don't have a problem with any of those pairings. It's essential that Worrall stays.
