Taylor knows as much as any of us here.

The reports linking #nffc with Jose Anigo as a potential sporting director are wide of the mark. It’s not a position the club are looking to fill. They’d have more backroom staff than fit central defenders...
First the points and then the pints….

The problem is obvious, there is no information, the club is crying out for some sort of Director/Chief who can communicate with the fans, hopefully communicate and support AK, knows his way around the club, well connected, all round good sort who believes the fans are a significant part of the club and should be informed of predominantly positives but also generally enlighten us, we have the richest heritage, get Stuart Pearce in as Sporting Director, please.

There is a lack of transparency which causes anxiety and apprehensive, at the end of the day it is a sporting club not secret weapons manufacturing facility or is it?

Can we leave Psycho please - that ship has sailed.

For Manager yes TPL I agree that ship has sailed. Would simply love him here as some sort of Sporting Director role. He would Galvanise the fans with the club, really get the fans onside. As much as I appreciate Frank C and John M the club needs that one legend and icon in the boardroom and who better than Stuart who also may be an average manager but has connections in the game and can spot a player

Doubt he would come, are his feelings the same for the club I don’t know but would love it if he did.

Sorry but I have to disagree on Psycho - an absolute legend as a player but done nothing since.
If he weren’t such a legend we wouldn’t be touching him with a barge pole.

'done nothing since' , hang on just thinking, you are saying he has done nothing since?  could you clarify 'nothing'?

besides assistant manager and manager in PL, getting teams to qualify for Europe, taking England U21's to a final, huge amounts of Media work, Managed us, pivotal in our most successful signings this century … introduced Osborne, Burke, signed Brit and Antonio sold for extremely profits

the funniest was the Olympic GB team but it did make me laugh and David James as striker for City, I just love Stuart Pearce

You might of had a point about the allotment thread but 'done nothing since' that isn't really true is it?

I forgot something about SP went to Portsmouth for a while and was popular at West Ham which isn't easy when you are sat next to David Moyes

Noone is infallible but he has conducted himself with total integrity, a sense of humour, unorthodox, paradigms, human but occasionally super human

He has been a better ambassador for NFFC by just being Stuart Pearce, no salary and definitely not fashionable but he is always mentioning NFFC with affection

The set up at Forest has something of the night about it, there has been a few initiatives but generally very little connection with the gut feeling people follow the team

The 'done nothing since' boat has just sailed in
