He was there for 10 years as Sporting Director he couldn't of been that bad.

Spent a period managing in Greece also so it fits with people Marinakis would know.

only a few sentences about him on Wikipedia, some success at Marseille but 2001 to 2004. His son had been in prison for bank robbery and was shot dead probably gangland hit.

I wonder if this bloke is being earmarked to take the reigns should AK actually be unfortunate enough to lose another game in charge in the toughest league in the world.
