Not so sure. Isn’t he a scout for Leicester? He will be wanting him at the highest stage available and the Everton interest caused us to sign him up long term. I also think he would have gone if Everton didn’t get into trouble for tapping up young players.

I’ve a feeling we have a real player on our hands with Johnson but am scared he will be the next one poached with his dads connections.
His dad is a level headed sort of bloke who knows the perils and pitfalls of being a pro footballer. I do not for one minute think David will put any thoughts of leaving the club into Brennans head. In fact i would like to bet that he would be telling him to stay here, learn the trade, improve and work hard and your time will come.

I think he scouts for Chelsea.

Whilst we a reaching for the prem we are not going to blood kids that aren’t absolutely top drawer. We have cash, Worrall and Yates in the first team alongside Johnson with the squad. A smaller squad being supplemented with academy players is what we should be doing. Walker should have stayed too.

We will sell them if they attract interest to balance the books for all the has been and never going to he's. That's what we do.
It's what 95% of clubs do. Do you think we are the only one?

This could be total bull but heard tonight that we are in discussions with Hatem Ben Arthur. Would provide striker cover and wing competition. Expensive though!
