QPR - Nottingham Forest

Personally I feel we need to replace the Figs/Worrall partnership which has been so poor in recent times. Central defence has been a disaster for months, and again against qpr. Both Figs and Worrall have been poor since February and both look mentally shot since Stoke. Get Soh and one other in.

We just need a win. Maybe a couple of clean sheets and then that partnership looks fine.

I know we're on a bad run but I'm not yet ready to slag the manager off yet. What do we want, sack him and start from square 1? No thanks, I'll wait to see what he can do when he has a fully fit squad.

I agree with most of your sentiments but I am concerned about the players' mindset. The fact we haven't scored has to play on their minds. Especially after yesterday when we should have had 2 or 3......

Another injury time goal yesterday. Is this team progressing?

Far too early to say.

An injury time because the team were pushing forward for an equaliser, rather than an injury time goal because the team were defending a lead.

It shows that the claim that we concede late goals because we are too defensive isn’t true.

No it shows that some of the players switch off and make costly mistakes.

I think it shows that our CHs have a fault line.

Figs has a mistake in him.  And Worrall has been accused of being a rabbit (ball watching?)

I think the best thing for both of them is a CH who is better and/or more experienced.

Worrall goes to his position.  And put Blackett on the left.  Or bring in a CH (Maybe the new incumbent to rival Figs for his spot. Maybe that's why he's been brought in.)

Figs needs a break.  Put him on the bench.

IF CHs are conceding mistakes and strikers aren't scoring.  You have to hope that doesn't become an established pattern.  Some may say it already is.

Lots of players in.  Time to gel.  Doesn't seem all the pieces are together and working properly yet.

That said.  I think there is a problem with the CHs working together.  Bring in somebody better than Figs (we have...) and slot them next to Worrall.

Or put Worrall in his normal place and put Blackett or a more experienced CH next to him.

I hate to blame individual players but Figs was at fault for both goals yesterday.

Still scratching my head as to how Dykes got ahead of Figgy before the foul was committed.

Dykes toyed with Figs all game.

People moan at Worrall for not being able to handle the target men strikers but QPR definitely targetted Toby yesterday.
