Agreed Wassy.

Malmo are not in the Swedish play offs and there season in Sweden has been over for a couple of weeks. They have only Europa League games to play.

Hopefully they are already on the ski slopes.

I wonder if they got any behind doors friendlies against proper opposition during the international break? The confidence the lads will have after yesterday compared to malmo just playing training matches should shine through

EM wants to win this competition and he has placed big importance on it.

The way he sees it is that it is our best hope of winning a trophy and our best hope of getting back into Europe again next season.

Wouldnt be surprised to see 1 or 2 quality under 21s coming in jan, so they dont need to be registered for the prem 25

This is good to hear, I do hope we don’t rest too many players and give it a good go.

Yes I hope so to.

It's there for the taking.

Reading reports about how Newcastle fans were treated by police in Marseille last night. Nothing changed from the 80s by all accounts. Italian police just as bad. Hoping to avoid a trip to one of those clubs should we get through.

With MGW out injured, a real chance for McAtee to make his mark.

Must admit that I’m nervous about the trip to Utrecht and sounds like the Porto fans caused some fuss when they were there.

Moved up to 16th now 2 points off a top 8 place.

Two of our remaining games are against teams currently sat in the top 8.

We've actually had a terrible draw, currently 5 of the top 8 are made up of teams we have either played or are still to play. Makes the Utretch game a must win really.

I suppose the good thing is we can beat the teams we need to overtake.

How many points do people reckon we need to finish top 8?
