Match Player Ratings
Samba 5 - worse game for us since joining. Distribution poor, Mis handled 3 low crosses and missed catch at end- should have punched!
Cash 6 - decent but is it only me who thought he did badly with the goal?
Figgs 8 - very good again
Worrall 6 - awful decision to block that player - we had it under control.
Riberio 8 - another good game
Watson 9 - superb
Yates 8 - very good
Sow 7 - good
Da Costa 7.5 - useful to have - would have preferred him staying on and having a go up top
Lolley 7.5- great goal but tired. Not sure if he is injured
Grabban 7 - would have been a 9 but 2 poor misses. Hold up play brilliant and hold up and lay off for silva superb

Silva 8 - so unlucky not to score and great through ball for mighten
Ameobi 8- such a brilliant out ball for us
Mighten 5- bit harsh but should have done better with his chance.

Bloody Fulham scored in last kick of game - not that it makes much difference. Would like to beat them Tuesday just to have some breathing space. Derby have an horrendous run in - Brentford West Brom Leeds and cardiff finishing with Birmingham. I can only see 8-10 points there and that would be promotion form for them!

A bit OTT with Watson, he played in a midfield three with two other defensive minded players and struggled (again) when players got goal side of him. Silva would have been getting pelters for putting in that performance.

All opinions obviously but he was there to nick the ball away always . Very good leader in the middle of the park. Mick McCarthy thought he was superb also.

I found Mick McCarthy to be refreshing to listen to. Honest, straight to the point and no pretence. Not like the usual arse lickers Sky often employ to commentate matches

I think that was an excellent team performance, maybe we understand how we play so we aren't so edgy, but I have never seen the strategy work so well, we should of had at least another 1 or 2 the play deserved it, so yes, everyone gets 10 except Grabbs and Wozza who get 9.5, just unfortunate individual instances of poor judgement, but overall delighted with the system and the way the players are all fitting into it and others coming on slotting straight in. Maybe a weakened derby team or are they really that bad? I'm expecting the next games to be difficult. Today seemed the easiest of days, just needed that 2nd, never mind.
