I'd give Watson & Sow 10/10 they were brilliant!

When I see Forest play out the back with such assurance and confidence I often think back to the time under McClaren, Pearce and other managers where they could barely make it out of the box. What a long way this club has come over the seasons.

I've not automatically been a fan of Matty Cash at full back but last night he was immense. He dominated the left side and confuseur d the Brentford plan . A big part of our brilliant win. 9.5 for me

I said at the very start of the season that Matty had all the attributes to becoming a top, top modern day RB but I didn't think he would develop this quickly. Let's hope we can keep him for years to come. He will be vital in what Forest are trying to build.

We've just got quality all iver the pitch. Oh, and we've also got steel in there too. And desire.

I thought Sow and Watson were both superb. Silva and especially Ameobi put great shifts in. Great win overall, only slight criticism I think both fullbacks let their opponents get crosses over too easily.

Titans.

That's where you win the game of football.  And they crushed Brentford under foot, right there and then.

Note.  Not one member of the team seemed to have a bad performance.  All where finally working as 'one' to get the result.  And they did.

Ty for the ratings, Jock.  It tells me Forest have just about 'arrived' under 'The Coach.'  A superb team performance just as reinforcements are starting to come in.  Though the sub that came on did well to run with and hold the ball up.  Promising.

Now?  Signings of intent.  3rd in the table.

We need to give the team some cushion from injury or suspensions.

Watson's redemption story this season...continues.

And Sow.  Fulcrum shift.

Two battle generals in DCM.  Dream come true.

More disciplined and concentrated team performances like this are essential.  To iron out that consistency over 90 mins.

I said the same thing from the off, took a bit of stick early on when he was being overloaded on and didn't know whether to stick or twist...but it's good to get it right.  Now Carvalho....... he's going nowhere.

I watched that WBA game where he was caught out of position then beaten easily for their first goal and thought "here we go its Osborn all over again". Could not have been more wrong. We knew he'd be decent going forward still but it's the tackling that has caught me off guard. He's so difficult to beat, makes you wonder why he was ever a midfielder!

I was thinking that the other day. How has he got to the age he has without anyone thinking he could do a job as a full back?
