Pap, I have been vocal in saying I dont want EM to sell up, that remains the case. But surely you admit there is no smoke without fire, and the sheer amount of smoke is really worrying. A players father calling for the board to be sacked is pretty unprecedented.

You keep on saying that this stuff would be ignored if we were winning games which may be true, but we arent winning games, there is very little on or off the pitch that is positive right now, any owners with this sort of record would be coming under scrutiny. In my opinion we are lucky to have a journalist who is willing to shine a light on it.

It's quite an eye opener.

No it's not. It's just the same criticisms turned over and over again. Nothing new in there apart from an irrelevant story about an ice bath being delayed and some bloke in a car going to buy ice and being held up (both of which incidentally will have happened under Dane Murphy's tenure).

And there's a mention of EM trying to buy The Guardian, which is written in a way to diminish him and make out he's some kind of uneducated Fawaz type.

Other than that it's just more twitter (and bitter) gossip.

I've said this before on here about Taylor. There's a a game tonight that we really could do with winning. If he's such a big Forest fan why's this story being released today. In what way will that be helping the players get a result later? Absolutely none.

Indeed.

Oh and on this S**t of the 'title' of Vrentzos that appears on Companies House for Nottingham Forest FC Ltd, lets just clear that up. It states that the occupation of Vrentzos is 'Chief Executive Officer'. It does not state that he is acting as the 'Chief Executive Officer' of Nottingham Forest FC. To illustrate this point Randall's occupation is listed as 'Barrister Queen's Counsel'. It does not say he is employed as a barrister by Nottingham Forest. So more much racking by Taylor based on twitter tripe.

Well.  Quite.  There was very little 'smoke' when Forest were 'flying' under Sabri.

The media fuel negativity.  If they can't get that, they'll rehash the old grains of salt and keep rubbing them in.  It's not like the media don't have an agenda of their own.

Incisive point.

He's probably enjoying a well earned break from Forest.  (Which will age prematurely.)

This is a cross roads with the big mans relationship as owner to the fans. All media briefing has been around his long term commitment and we really should be grateful for his backing. There has undoubtedly been improvements and you don’t spend 2m on planning of there is no intention do anything with it - however, sniffers hints and what we are seeing all points to me as clearing the decks for a sale of the club. If there is no big statement made soon- e.g stadium start date, improved facilities at academy started, then for me it’s obvious it is way out time. Just hope the damage is not to great this season as at the moment we are hurting and heading for L1.
That is without addressing the on field issues…

We'll be following this progress with great interest.

Taylor is going after Vrentzos big time. Anybody know the reason behind this constant attacking? It seems to be personal. I mean you can argue that he hasn't done a great job in some areas but that doesn't warrant this type of abuse?

He isnt if you read the article. It is a balanced broadside on the running of the entire club.

The points are valid in my opinion. Doesnt mean I want the owners out, I would just like them to run the club efficiently.

Why would what he has published today have any impact on the result tonight. Will it demotivate the players.

Because it just stirs up more negative tension among the fans and maybe even the players when we all need to be pulling as one to get a result. This last few days it's been hard enough keeping the faith without this guy piling in.

When would be a good time? After we have been relegated?

Taylor is a lifelong Forest fan. He wants us to prosper like the rest of us. We are deteriorating. Taylor thinks Vrentzos and others mismanagement is a big reason. Taylor is annoyed that big promises are made and have not been delivered. He also criticised Fawaz the same way. In my opinion it is not personal and I am grateful for him shedding light on the bull S**t.

No Salv, there's no smoke without fire, I appreciate that, but where's the benefit of writing long articles and going on podcasts to continually criticise and criticise and criticise the club when they have clearly changed direction and are trying to implement change in challenging circumstances. He just thinks he can exclude Murphy from his criticism. At what point will guru Taylor decide that Murphy needs to get some of the treatment? The ice bath no being installed will have happened on Dane Murphy's watch, why not ring him up and ask him?

Murphy himself has said successful football clubs are ones in which everyone, staff, players, fans, directors pull in the right direction. He needs to start doing the same if he's a fan.
