There are plenty of posters who come on here every day and often disagree with me or throw a few insults about regarding Vrentzos etc but I don't fall out with them. This forum is all about opinions and every bodies opinion counts.
Posters like Widdow, Alf, Marinakis Red, Uwantlee, MadForIt and even Salvatore often disagree with me or give a bit of grief to the Greeks but I have the greatest respect for all of them.

I think the level of debate here is excellent, and I've rarely ever seen it get personal or it fraction off into folk having sides just because of having different opinions. Ultimately we're all reds, and I always a see a forum chat like chatting with your mates down the pub. Only the dregs start getting nob-endy about it all.
If it makes you feel any better and to make you chuckle, reading through some of the posts the penny's only just dropped with me that SSM is Steve Stone's Mullet, someone who had a real bee in his bonnet against me on another forum. And the reason why had a real bee in his bonnet was because.......you're gonna love this......I told him I wasn't happy with our approach to recruitment & Vretzos + Modesto around 2 years ago :D :D :D
Seriously, the lad defended our recriutment to the high Heavens and would say stuff like I'd got Asperger's for criticizing Muric and saying he was nowhere near ready for Champ football. So it has given me a chuckle seeing him go all anti-Vrentzos because of the poor recruitment now. :D
He does mean well though. I've nowt against him personally, but he certainly shouldn't be getting personal with you either. Hopefully his ban will make him have a rethink of things and allow him to refocus the clear passion he has to see the club do well, and channel that in better ways. He kinda reminds me of a punk rock bass player who has all the soul, some of the contacts, but can't play a note yet. He'll get there.

I remember blocking that Steve Stones Mullet on twitter a few months ago. He would jump on my every tweet a bit like he was doing on here with my posts. So he turned full circle then Alf? Funny that because he also posted in the Forest - Blackburn thread on here how happy he was with our off the field set up!
He also denied being NG3 and Knocker West and said that he was new on here but he remembered and referred to a post I made on here more than one year ago about Chori Dominguez scouting for us in South America :)
He used to like using the word lie a lot but he really wasn't a very good liar himself.

Doesn't surprise me mate, he has got a bit of an OTT nature to him, and he's clearly still got to spunk in him which he needs to get out his nackers.
He just needs to pop his cherry, get some veg down him and take a breather bless him. His heart's in the right place, he's just not learned to temper that yet. He'll get there.

Just catching up after a few days away.
No idea who SSM is/was but wasn’t there a poster with the same name on Talk Forest back in the day? Or is he on vital? I get confused….
Either way this forum has the same ethos as TF did and through which I met and made many good friends in RL. TF died when Trev lost interest and vital has imploded since Kev passed, so Sniff’s efforts to keep this place going are always appreciated especially by those of us outside of Notts and otherwise struggling to get our Forest ‘fix’ of news and gossip.
I’m guessing there’s quite a few of the old TF lot on here!
