Are we all ready to embrace the women's football team?

Seems like the club have eventually taken over the running of the ldies and there'll be a professional set up there at last.

Cant say I'm enthused about womens football generally to be honest but never say never I suppose.

I think it says a lot about how the club is being run.  Professionally.

Enough said.

I will admit it, that is the first thing that crossed my mind too when I saw the thread.

I was mighty disappointed when I clicked on it.

Didn't Mardy Hardy disband the Lady Magpies a couple of seasons ago?

On a side note, I always remember a sketch on Not the 9 o' Clock News, where Griff Rees-Jones says to Mel Smith "What are you watching women's football for? " To which Mel Smith says "Just wait til the end". When the final whistle blows, all of the women take off their shirts (revealing bare chests) and swap shirts (o)Y(o) lol.

I know! I'm just an old perve at heart  :D

Just been at England v New Zealand ladies match at The Amex. 20k fans, daughter enjoyed it, albeit England lost.  The atmosphere was a bit like the old England School boys games, lots of high pitched "come on England" chants, nice day out in the sun. England seem to have morphed into Phil Neville type players, ok in space, but poor crossing and passing under pressure!
If Forest ladies thrive, it can only be a good thing for us. Totally separate entity to the Forest we all (try to) love. I love a raucous atmosphere, but if can attract an extra few thousand paying customers I care not what Gender they are.
Actually, lots of little white flags, rubbish atmosphere etc...I may have been confused it was more like Pr1de P@rk today....
