Difficult choice and I expect this to be very close.

Milenkovic for me.
He has been our best most consistent player and chipped in with a few goals too. Brentford at H aside, I can't think of him having a bad game out of the other 36 (+cups) He has made the biggest difference to our team making us more solid (old school defending) and being a focal point in both boxes

I have voted for Chris Wood but it was a very difficult choice.
Quiet simply I hate to think where we would be without his goals this season.

I voted for Sels but it wasn't an easy choice and they all deserve to be players of the season.

It was between Wood or Sels for me and I went for Sels and I can understand why people voted for Milenkovic but he would be my buy of the season. It was close one.

Voted for Wood.
20 goals and the best chance to goal conversion in Europe. Scoring goals is the hardest job in football. Sensational season for him. Sels and Milenkovic ran him close. And pretty much every player that makes up the regular X1 have all had at least 7 or 8 out of 10 seasons.

It's a hard choice but I'm surprised Wood is comfortably behind on the 3 favourites so far.
Wood for me.

Sels for me, by some distance.
The defense has been not quite as good during the second half of the season and Mats has kept us in many games which we would have lost last season.

That we have named 10 players above and all have an excellent case for being POTS says something. Makes a change from the days when we voted for Ben Osborn purely on the basis he was less S**t than the rest of the squad and tried harder.
Honourable mentions for Neco, Sels, Milenkovic and MGW but Wood’s 20 goals in the best league in the world says it all.

We wouldn't be where we were without their individual contribution. I think Milenkovic's contribution has been greater. From being very poor at defending set pieces, he's made us strong, and we now have the most goals from offensive set plays. He's scored 5 goals and also brought the best out in Murillo. I honestly think we're a lower mid table side without him and Sels doesn't have the season he's had without Milenkovic in front of him.

You only have to look at those saves Sels made on Sunday in securing three points.
He really has been phenomenal, and I say that admitting that I thought he needed replacing when the season started.
