If the PL changes are anything to go by, I think this will be a quiet thread, unless we get relegated!

If we stay up I think we need to sort 5 positions. GK, LB, CB, CM and Striker. Turner and Vlad can go for me, keep Sels as no2 but get a quality no1 in. With Worrall, McKenna, Felipe all leaving we need one, maybe two, CBs (depends also on what happens with Boly and Murillo). LB depends if we sign Tavares permanently or if Richards comes back. If Nuno stays in charge then can see him wanting to bring in a commanding CM of his choice - someone in the Neves mould perhaps. Lastly a striker. Wood’s contract due to end (is it worth an extension on reduced terms?) and clear that Awoniyi can’t be relied upon to play week in, week out so we another striker either a quality back up or starting striker.

We need a quiet window. The club's finances needs a quiet window. We have enough within to be a sound prem team. And our PR needs to convey the impression that we're not going big.

Agree and ideally minimum changes/additions. Only prob is we have quite a lot due to leave so will have some gaps to fill or could leave ourselves short. But ideally nothing like our first few windows ?

Should we stay up and stay within the rules this season, We will actually have a decent chunk of money to play around with. As that promotion year seems to be the problem and that will be taken off. Obviously hope we don’t go crazy but there are obvious positions that need an upgrade.

Well I’m guessing one of our longest serving players will be first out the door, for one.

Decent only if Marinakis is prepared to spend. Everyone has a limit, whether your a moderatly wealthy guy like Doughty was, a richer guy like the big man is or have stellar wealth like the man utd guy. Is EM going to continually spend say £50 year on year? At what point does he get worried about his kids inheritance or like I think Doughty said, looking after millionaire footballers and not homeless people sleeping in the streets?

All depends on if we stay up or not.

We have a lot of players out of contract (finally getting rid Arter £40k a week wages) and I cannot see us making any of the loans permanent (maybe Riberio), which should save a lot of wages.

Out for free
Hennesey
Taveres
Felipe
Montiel
Mbe Soh
McKenna
Boly
Aina (unless we trigger another year, which i think we should)
Kouyate
Arter
Reyna
Wood
Origi
Hwang (?)
Riberio (?)

Then all the players who are out on loan, I imagine would look to sell if we stay up alongside  Vlachodimos / Turner - or both

Of course if we go back to Championship, a lot of loan players may come back into the picture. Thinking of the likes of Worral (although he would be good to sell for PSR) O Brien, Dennis, Bowler, Panzo, Richards, Aguilera - should all be good squad players for Championship and help replace players above.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR  :)

Bear in mind we need to return a £9m profit overall to comply with current years PSR.

Obviously that is overall turnover including revenue from Tv, not just transfers and wages but don’t get carried away with your shopping list unless we make a big sale too.

That's this year's accounts though, is irrelevant for the next set of summer signings. In fact if we're forced to sell one or more players that'll only increase the signings required!

Apologies, assuming we don’t buy anyone before 30/6 (you never know with us!) then we should have the full £105m for next season if the rules stay the same and of course assuming we stay up.
Therefore we take a £52m loss from last season and assume we exactly meet the required £9m profit from this season that would give us a leeway to lose up to £62m next season.
