One thing I do find funny is the people clamouring for Chris hughton after complaining about sabri's negative style. Frying pan in to the fire springs to mind.

Was Karanka unknown or ex Olympiakos? Was MON unknown or Ex Olympiakos?. Sabri might have been unknown to you but he wasn't to plenty of others who follow European Football more closely plus he was not ex Olympiakos either. So there is no track record leading back to your comment. Once again it's just another sneaky pop at our owners that has no justification.

I'd love a couple of oly's ex managers including valverde sniff.

Like most I think it's time for him to go. Although played well in large parts yesterday it is still another loss and still zero points.
It does feel that opposition goalkeepers raise their game against us though

There have been 19 managers since we were last in the premier league, if you include Billy twice and not including caretaker managers.
Of those 19, only 3 were foreigners. Montanier, Karanka and Lamouchi. Montanier was appointed by Fuckwit Hasawi and Karanka and Lamouchi by EM. The other 16 managers have all been British/Irish managers who have played in the British leagues. It hasn't worked with any of the 19 managers so far, whats to say it won't continue like that? The manager that does get us promoted will have something about him none of the previous 19 have had. We have no right to be in the premier league, if we arent good enough. We are Nottingham Forest and our history says that apart from the occasional few years, we have always been a mediocre second division side. We have had good years but they are far outweighed by bad ones. That is who we are.

Valverde or Jardim would be unreal appointments in my view. Marco Silva has struggled a little of late in England but in the championship who knows. I'd still take a punt on Gabriel Heinze.

Of the three, I'd say Karanka at the time pretty much perfectly fit the bill of what we'd be looking for in a manager this time around. Champ promotion experience. Hopefully we go down a similar route again, most likely to be successful. Although if we do go down the no championship experience route, should point out it worked pretty well for Leeds! Also, should add nationality is irrelevant, management experience in england/the championship is relevant

Leeds appointed a mega coach on huge wages. Don’t think we could afford to go down that route. Leeds are a bigger club.

Leeds may be a bigger club, but there owners are not as rich as ours, im pretty sure if we wanted to pay prem league managers money on a new gaffer we can
