The first 20 mins has to be attributable to Sabri though. Its difficult to see on a shite ifollow feed but the full backs were pressing forward and no one was covering them. Crosses were going in unchallenged and yet again, our CD's were getting bullied and out fought aerially. So the players have changed but we still see the same things happening from the start. Yes, he eventually sorted it out but yet again we had to go 2 goals down for it to happen. I defended him to the hilt but we cant go on like this. Hes had a week to sort this shit out and its not happened.

We were really unlucky today. As was the same with Ameobi's shot last week, if Mighten's header goes in early doors for us today its a completely different game. But it didn't, and then we try the keystone Cops routine at the back and its game over. Problems at both ends I think and ive come to the conclusion, as unlucky as we were today, that things have got to change and Sabri is entrenched in his formation and can't change it. He's a gonner I'm afraid.

I isolation, the last 65 minutes of the game was fine. The problem is that the game was already lost. If our form had been alright over first four games you would shrug it off. But it hasn't and in all fairness our home form for a year has been distinctly average.
Depart, I say, and let us have done with you.

Yep. I feel for the guy I really do. And i think the last thing the club needs is a change of manager but something's got to change on the pitch. As i said above, Sabri is unable to or unwilling to change his approach. If he gets the sack it'll be down to his rigidity.

I don’t think anyone could give a flying fook that we could have won 4-2 today. Fact is we didn’t. We lost. Again. It’s a dumb as saying if we had played well in the first 20 minutes we would have won 1 nil. The facts are repeatedly knocked back by those demanding stability at any cost.
It really doesn’t matter if we, as supporters, want stability. If a manager isn’t working then wanting stability is irrelevant.
I am chuffed that the owners stuck with sabri over the summer and gave home chance. For me that is enough. They showed they were willing to I’ve time. But 3 wins in 20 or 7 straight defeats is the sign that it is time for change. Even the fact that the manager himself has said we are making the same mistakes points to a guy who hasn’t got a clue. It is his job to stop these mistakes... his solution was to change the whole team and play the same shite tactics. We now have a team that need to gel playing tactics that don’t work. It’s painful.
People will again point to the second half being soooooooooo much better... was it really? Bristol had won the game, much like Cardiff, and sat off. We scored (through an unstoppable effort) couldn’t score from the chances created after. Ok the goalkeeper played well... he did his job. Bristol had the game won at 2 nil. Other than the freeman strike we couldn’t break them down.
Sabri keeps talking about having 2 weeks to work with this team... what has he been doing until now. I have never heard any other manager make as many excuses as sabri and none of them make sense.

I like him but his recent record of results is unacceptable. Bye Sabri.

Pros: 2nd half spirit and chances created was by far the best of the season so far.
Mighten looked very impressive, even in 1st half when we looked poo.
New left back grew into game and he puts in good crosses.
We scored a goal!!!
Cons: First half was mostly awful.
The defence was shredded to pieces.
We still can't convert chances.
The complete apathy of the players for 1st 30 mins.
Arter acting like a petulant d1ckhead whenever any decision didn't go our way, gradually turning Stroud into the Anti-forest we all know.
Zero points
Another loss.
I hate changing the manager. But the last time we beat 11 men was Feb 25th!
Didn’t see Mighten tiring - surprised that he wasn’t given longer, particularly given that Ameobi was also removed & we had no obvious replacements on the bench ( hence Sow being brought on ).
I thought same re Mighten. It was as if he had decided prematch to give him an hour, I would certainly have left him on.

I thought Mighten looked tired soon after the start of the second half. He’s alright but he’s still a kid.

Great we were ok for last 65mins after going 2-0 down against a team playing at home who sat back on a 2 goal lead to then try and get a 3rd on the counter which nearly happened a couple of times . Did anyone notice we started to get better at the moment Dawson got up and started barking orders whilst sabri stopd silent in the rain ? Coincidence i think NOT !!! The players had been given a rollicking by club captain and senior pro they were playing for pride at that point .GET him OUT of this club and all his assistants who are never seen .

i've screamed for him to be kicked out the club, so don't get me wrong, i think we are severely damaged since Barnsley last season and even upto that game badly stuttering, but it was the Barnsley game for me
however on that performance against Brizz with all the new faces and quite far off from the starting 11 as well match and season preparation, everything considered you can't scream for a sacking on that performance, there is lots to improve and put right and players to bed in and get upto fitness
what i liked was it wasn't huff and puff chasing the game, there were many good crosses and interplay resulting in point blank efforts and another huge pile of situations that with a bit more composure could of become something. Even this horrendous first half, in effect we were doing ok then mistakes getting severely punished, we had some great chances in the first half to of been ahead
I'd actually say the last 15 minutes is the consistent problem area, the changes get made, influential players get taken off, and it turns into headless chicken time, the last 15 minutes, consistently is where the work needs to be done, composure goes out the window and players start fluffing their lines, Freeman was maybe the player that comes to mind yesterday in the last 15 but it was a collective confused bunch headless chickens effort at the end
Sabri is getting it big time but the players have a responsibility and I can't blame Sabri for yesterday, the system and tactics were spot on

Just thinking of the old sliding doors moments from last season. The Derby last second equaliser, Barnsley last minute winner. Yes our form this year is atrocious but I still think there was an element of bad luck to the end of last season. We were up and down form wise but it was a weird situation, for 95 mins against Derby I thought we played fantastic. OK Barnsley was dreadful and deserved to lose but then against Stoke we came out full of intent, played really well for 60mins despite going behind. Just needed something to fall right and it could have been so different.
Thought Sabri looked a beaten man yesterday. Good guy, I want stability but absolutely certain he is a goner.
