Warburton lost 50% of his matches here. The worst record of any Forest manager. 2 goals conceded a game every single month. Teams who are defensively clueless are very boring to watch, and boy were we defensively clueless under Warburton. Truly awful. He’s ok for a club in the lower half like qpr who are restructuring financially, but you wouldn’t want him for a promotion challenge.

Can't say there's anyone I would be desperate to see take charge. I just want someone who plays decent football and goes out to win games.. this current squad is very good for this level and should really be challenging for top 6..
Our performances and results have been woeful for months now

Could be Bob Smith, manager of the Dog & Duck sunday seniors for all the differemce it makes. Yep that is true. Unfortunately we are not going to get another Brian Clough in a hurry. Supporters and owners over the years have become too impatient. To build a successful side the manager will need some time. Last season the team improved its league position to highest in 7 years. Surely that is progress. We have been on a bad run but there are a lot of new players who will need to bed in. In the summer we lost two key players who were absolutely key to the way we played. With the personnel we now have Sabri needs to adapt the tactics. He should be given some time to do that but I doubt he will be allowed. Apart from the Clough years when we massively over achieved, the league position over the last few years would not be too far away from our average throughout the history of the club. We don't have a right to be in the premier league. The most likely route will be being patient, buying in to a manager and not pulling the trigger on the back of a loss of form.

Superior win ratio, probably points haul per game average compared to Sabri, MW being on lower budgets and much less time. Personally, a caretaker would be best for the time being, i think there would be a bounce regardless All these arguments are done to death, Warbs v Karanka, Freedman v Pearce, Sabri v Nelly Nogoals, something is holding the club back, there is a glass ceiling that everyone bangs there head on. the managers role here is like a glass coffin that closes in on them and eventually crushes the life out of 'em Fans patience has nothing to do with any of the sackings, appointments, left by mutual agreements, imo, not one.

It’s 2020 not the 1970s. Managers who run the whole club for many years are a thing of the past. Now we have a first team coach who runs the first team. We don’t need one to be here for years. We need one who can do an excellent job for a year or two at most and get us promoted.

Agree - the fashion is to get the manager that fits the ethos of the club, not to get a manager that sets the ethos of the club.
The latter allows for a more sustainable approach and gives the club a clear identity. Obviously if our ethos is chaos and underachievement then we're doing alright and have mastered it over the last two decades

We're potentially a snip away from the premier league. Why wouldnt they? And if they get the job and fail, no worries, they take the pay off.

First, Sabri is Head Coach.
Sabri is not the manager. There will not be a "manager" again. Only a replaceable Head Coach based on results. I believe EM will use this week to line up the new Head Coach. New Head Coach will watch Saturdays game and take over from Monday 5th October morning, with 2 weeks to work with the squad before the next game. Obviously win, lose or draw, Sabri will get sacked either Saturday after the game or Monday. I would not be surprised if Sabri has been told already he is leaving, hence the big squad change, he has been told to get minutes into the new players legs and go through the motions whilst the new Head Coach is recruited. Make sure the final signing/s happen, get the players match fit and complete the hand over. Its not all cutthroat like the media likes to play it as........sometimes its all agreed in advance.......the compensation is very attractive.
