I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dawson get a shot. Or at least caretaker whilst looking for a new manager.

But that thin ice Sabri Is standing on still seems stable. No news coming out of Greece of an imminent departure.

Makes sense to get rid ASAP especially with the international week coming up. Sabri could win his next game, and may look all is good again but as soon as he loses, it will kick off again.

Relegation spot and relegation form, surely his job is untenable now?

That would be a good appointment, although can't say I've followed his career since Huddersfield

Only been at Schalke since then and his recent run makes Sabri's look good. Not won a game since January, played 18 won 0, drew 6 and lost 12.

Before that though he had them as high as 3rd in the Bundesliga, something clearly went badly wrong.

The manager I heard that EM ideally wants who almost made me fall off my chair (but probably can't get) is on your list pal. That is all.

As said previously, Paul Cook for me.

Also be excited to see what Eddie Howe could do, same as Steve Gerard.

Stuber at Barnsley plays good football

With Dawson as an assistant

Yep they're the top two candidates available agreed, and play a decent brand of football too. Target Eddie with cook as a backup would be my strategy.

I’m not interested in an attack minded coach, Warburton and Montanier were both hopelessly bad, but I do want one who knows how to get the best out of our squad.
