Based on his previous record he'd already be gone so clearly he's decided to take a different approach this time to date anyway. I actually think we're closing in on the point where neutrals might think it reasonable to sack him

Don't like saying it and I want it to work but a change is needed. The squad is now good enough to be challenging for the top two in an average (at best league). Whatever the reasons it is not working for SL. However he needs to be replaced by someone who knows English football (I am not being xenophobic) as the new man will be playing catch up. IF he could be persuaded, I would go for Michael Appleton.

Wish I'd put a not sure option as I'm still on the fence personally. If I had to choose though I'm leaning towards yes. The unwillingness and stubbornness to change tactics when clearly we've been found out is infuriating.

Plus he deserved to be sacked for that Barnsley game last year anyway. As mentioned on another thread worst tactical decisions since CC put Grant Holt at left wing

Sadly vote yes, like the bloke but as most can see has lost it in both the eyes of the most of the fans and it seems some of the more senior players. It's a shame as I though early parts of last year that Sabri could at last be the man to move us forward. Not sure who should replace him if/when he goes, he may even resign before being pushed as he seems a decent guy. It would have to be sooner rather then later as we could be 9 points behind the early leaders by 5pm tonight!

Its not xenophobic to want someone with experience of English football/championship. It would be however if you said you wanted an English manager above a foreign manager with similar championship experience for no other reason than their nationality but I'm assuming you weren't saying that.

If I could choose I'd like Carlos Carvalhal, his teams play 343, would be pretty exciting. Attacking football worked pretty well for Leeds and to a lesser extent Brentford last year

I guess the vague debate is does he get a stay of execution due to having to assimilate so many new players at once?

Correct Wassy, that is what I was saying. The experience element is key and Carvahal has it. He would be an excellent choice but I fear the European competition his team has qualified for this season will keep him there ?

Looks like he's just taken a new job at Braga who finished 3rd, can't see him immediately leaving that, shame.
