The fee is more towards the £10mil mark. They’ve agreed to the 25% sell on fee which was the main stumbling block. A striker has become available and our main attention has turned to him. Apparently a quality player but unfortunately I haven’t been told the name. This ones under wraps. The Ojo deal is still on the table if we fail with this 1. Sounds very promising though.

 Bridcutt gets his chance. Os' has been struggling with the defensive aspect of the lb role. Dias should be fresh and raring to go. Murphy will at least try to jump for a header.

I take it the ‘£10m’ mark excludes the sell on?

Hope we don't sign Gestede, we need a goalscorer, he is not the answer.

7 goals in 55 appearances for  Cardiff.

9 goals in 50 appearances for Villa.

4 goals in 35 appearances for Boro.

Poor return.

He had one decent season at Blackburn 4 years ago.
