I'm not sure he's going to get more time. Until Soh we hadn't spent much, so no great commitment to Sabri money-wise or ego-wise.
Add on the fact (?) that Modesto and Anigo are in charge of recruitment and they brought in Soh, our first major signing.
That makes the manager more disposable and EM's patience more likely to run out sooner rather than later.

The wages we have committed too will be massive. The investment in this squad for a team without parachute payments is huge. It’s wrong to suggest otherwise.

I just cannot see sabri adapting his and our style, we have been found out and it is not working, he seems to have an inability to change to make things work using our players to the best of there ability, our attack minded players spend far too much time defending wasting energy so when we actually go forward we are laboured, slow and predictable.
Sabri has not even flinched or hinted trying to play a slightly different way, Yates and colback were so deep on Saturday it was untrue, this system is so easy to play against, you know that nobody is going to run off grabban, you know we are not close enough to him to get in behind teams, we always play in front of teams making it so easy to read. Defenders hate facing there own goal and we do not ever turn teams around, or get more than 3 players in the penalty area unless it's off a set piece so no wonder the goals count is so low. Less than a goal a game in the last 17 games really worries me.
so for that reason and his stubbornness means we may as well start again now as this style is not changing nor does it work. He used up all his luck in the first half of the season. It has disappeared like our form and confidence.

Mabey the pressure will make him go even more defensive so we will lose again and he will get sacked . If he was to play attacking football and we still lost at least this might give him some breathing room with the fans

I was so pleased when Sabri was not sacked. I feel that it has to be best for the club that we have the same manager for a while to see what he can really do. I do think that the dreadful end to last season has made people feel very differently about a manager that seemed to be largely very popular.
I have started to have my doubts because he seems to be stubbornly sticking to the defensive style of football and though it nearly worked, it didn't ultimately get us over the line. Nevertheless, the owners have given him the players he wants and to sack him after a couple of games just wouldn't make sense. I think he should be given till Christmas (unless we are bottom half). I genuinely think we will be rewarded with sticking with him, but the type of football makes it difficult to stomach giving him that time.
