In response to a post on the main Sabri thread, here's a very simple question:
Should Sabri be sacked or not?
That's right now, after the two games we've played this season. Not in a few matches time, but right now.

Yes, right now.
I believe that he will not improve us as a club and the longer he is here the worse our situation will get. He did well at the start and I was very hopeful but we have been going backwards for a long time and we have not adapted.

Vote away then! That's what the poll is for. :D

After you have voted I would invite you all to cast your minds back 8 seasons to late 2012. We had Sean O ‘Driscoll in charge and he was doing a creditable job of getting reasonable results from a squad that included dross like Darius Henderson, Dan Harding and Matt Derbyshire. He had a sticky spell in late November and fan opinion mostly on social media, not in the stadium, started to turn a bit. Some of us didn't like his tippy tappy cautious approach and, seriously this was one of the reasons, his post match interviews were dull as ditch water.
Anyhow many people on here were members of a different forum before this fine place existed and similarly they had a poll as to whether or not to sack O’Driscoll. The poll result was a bit Brexit like if I remember but was narrowly in favour of getting rid. Of course a couple of weeks later those in favour got their wish because Fawaz, ever the crowd pleaser pulled the trigger on Boxing Day after the win over Leeds with Forest in 7th place in the Championship.
I am mentioning all of this because general consensus in the football World was that the sacking of O’Driscoll was a ridiculous mistake that scuppered our season. Surely no club would sack their manager that was doing pretty well? That came to be the opinion amongst forest fans too with hindsight and we conveniently blamed our former owner for being clueless.
The uncomfortable truth though is that an awful lot of us thought that O’Driscoll wasn't good enough for NFFC. Us fickle fans got what we wished for and 8 Years later on here we are sill in the Championship with the rest of the football world laughing at us.

Either sack him now, or wait till the end of season
My point is, can we afford to sit on the fence, new man needs to come ASAP if they do want rid while window is open and give him time to get his philosophy over to the players. Not that many games this month, then it goes crazy and no one will have time to do anything properly, and really cannot see much changing and then after every defeat it will feel like the sand of time slipping away as He and we wait for the chop.
If he was ever going to change the style of play, it would’ve been the Barnsley game, I think fans would’ve forgiven him if he tried a different style of play or formation and it didn’t work but could see signs he had learnt his lessons, and lost but no did the “same old” And lost, which was not surprising
His last 21 games is relegation form, and still sounds like a beaten man, who needs putting out of his misery.
So I’ve said sack now and get someone in, while a chance to really make a difference.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR :)

There's also similarities with the Freedman era, who despite having Fawaz as his boss, no internal club infrastructure to assist, an injured Britt and an umbongo to deal with, kept us up. He set his team up to the squad's strengths, and sent the players out primarily to not lose. No one shed a tear when he was sacked but in hindsight I can see he did remarkably well in the circumstances.

It's a No from me at this stage too. The game on Saturday will prove if the players still want to play for him.
A couple of wins (and clean sheets) will breed confidence

We found out that the club asked a few of the senior players their opinions of MoN before he got the boot. I'd suggest they've likely to have been consulted this time around too. IMO if they cant put a shift in for their manager, whoever that might be, then they shouldn't be a professional footballer at a club at our level.
