Sab's under immense pressure now. He'll have had up to 9 new players to bed in and be expected to hit the ground running. If he gets off to a stinker he'll be gone before Dec.
Half full man personally. Not convinced he'll cut it. Jardim to replace him would be my guess.

The first month will tell us whether the players still believe in him. If they don’t there’s little point in him staying on. The old cliché ‘lost the dressing room’ is trite but it’s as true today as it ever was. More so now coaches are more expendable than players.

Looking on Twitter it seems opposition fans are more optimistic about our prospects for the season than we are. Lots of them putting us in their top sixes and a few in their top twos.

Very pessimistic thing to think.
All of sudden there is a lot of negativity on this site towards the owners. Personally I don't get it. We make a huge loss every season even before Covid. We have improved each season they took over. This transfer window we have brought six players in. Most of those are generally thought to be good additions. We have negotiated top dollar for a full back with one years experience in the championship. They have backed the manager. People come on here and say we should sign Jed Wallace as if Millwall would sell him to us for a realistic fee. Some people need to get real.
Can't help it I'm afraid. I know it won't go down too well on this forum but I'm just not entirely convinced by these owners.
I wouldn't say there is a lot. Just the same 2 or 3 posters who are negative about absolutely everything. It does get a tad tiring at times.
Its not just me getting pissed off by certain posters then Sniff!

On paper I actually applaud our business this close season. A winger and a number 8 short at the minute for me but maybe that is Johnson and mighten roles to claim.
I just want to see us play effective football. We haven’t for a while.

I tell you something, I'm happy that carragher and Neville do not analyse our performances week in week out. Otherwise we would all be half empty.
The analysis for this England performance would be very similar to how they would describe watching forest currently.

The ridiculous over hype about England is ridiculous.
0-0 away at Denmark is a decent result.

Very very important point. That will decide the managers fate.

Tony Cottee has tipped us to go up automatically. Always liked him.
