Retro Forest Photos
Terry Wilson, Nottingham Forest, 1986 - 1993.

Class player was Terry and a smashing fella.

I would often bump into him at Madisons or Zaks nightclub and he would always have a chat.

Stan Bowles, Nottingham Forest, 1979/80.

Stan failed to settle under the management of Brian Clough and he ruled himself out of the 1980 European Cup Final after Clough refused to allow Bowles to play in John Robertson's testimonial.

A fantastic player who sadly made just 19 appearances for Forest.

Nice background as well, the old Trent End without the segregation fences.

Elton John’s uncle, Roy Dwight, played for Nottingham Forest when they won the FA Cup in 1959. He scored the first goal but then broke his leg but could not be substituted so they played on with ten men. In his only full season for the club he scored 26 goals.

Johnny Metgod, Nottingham Forest, 1984 - 1987.

One of my all time favourite players.

Brilliant free kick specialist.

Glad that Johnny is now back working for the club.

Who was here on that fateful day, Main Stand Fire, I was in the middle of the Trent End, I could feel the heat of the fire on my face.

I was in the east stand that day, hated going over to meadow lane to watch our games.
