Just realised I forgot to add Carvalho as an attacking option although I doubt that he will play any big part next season. I do hope he will but I'm afraid he hasn't got the fight in him.

ive never had a problem with 352 on fifa, although IMO we would need Dawson, Fig and Worrall for the back line and i dont know if we have good enough backups for that

I don't expect to see a back 3 but if we do then surely Blackett would play on the left side of the 3.

I don't expect to see a back 3 but if we do then surely Blackett would play on the left side of the 3.

im expecting a variation of 442 diamond or a 433. maybe even a 4-2-2-2

Any system is only as good as the players you have to enforce it.

And Forest's recruitment isn't quite there for strikers, cm, winger, ch.

Target man. Slide rule. Quality. Mobile. Are the qualities we're looking for in the above four positions.

Lolley as wing back when he's suffering from shin splints? Rib' as a wingback when he didn't seem to be that great going forward...or in a forward position.

They'll have to increase their recruitment to truly go down this route.

Having options is fine. But you need to bring in those 'Plan B and C' players.

Yeah.  Between that late game and stoppage time.  It came up time and again.  Last minute goals.

Lack of concentration?  Fitness?  Mental toughness?  Not enough monster?

The back line needs the bag shaking.

We defend with the whole team so it's a bit unfair to just blame the back four when we concede a goal. When the players in front of the back four get passive and stop pressing as a collective then it is very difficult for the back four to fill the gaps that will appear. In general I believe Figs and Worrall are a very good CB pairing. Would have liked a bit more pace but I guess you can't have it all. A Worrall or Figs with pace would have been snapped up by the bigger teams already.
